I am having Carrier Durawhite 1.5T 5 star Inverter split model. Performance is better than expected. Let us understand by way of pros and cons
Pros:
Cooling - way better than Panasonic(both purchased at the same time)
Electricity consumption - Ran it at 40% capacity and was able to navigate extreme temperatures of summer without any issue i.e. 40% was enough for a 1212 room on ground floor in Delhi NCR
Great Service - They have a super plan wherein if you get it serviced from them twice a year, they will get you completely covered in a warranty.
Cons:
Please don’t trust this brand.
It’s Chinese brand with bad build quality. I got this Ac is September and started using it from March. It stop working in 2 months service person changed compressor, PCB , sensor and it’s still not working. I requested for replacement but this brand is stringent to not provide replacement or refund for bad manufacture product.
My money totally wasted on this AC PLEASE DONT GET INTO THIS BRAND TRAP.

Carrier Split AC 1.5 Ton
I purchased a Carrier Split AC in 2023, and from the get-go, it failed to cool effectively. Despite multiple attempts to fix it, including gas refills by both the retailer's service providers and themselves, the issue persisted. Now, just two years later, I'm facing the same problem again, with the gas needing refilling for the fourth time. It's absurd that a relatively new AC would require such frequent maintenance. When I requested a replacement early on, I was given the runaround, with promises of Carrier Split engineers fixing the issue, only to be told later that the replacement period had expired. Even after authorized Carrier Split service technicians refilled the gas, there's still a leakage problem, suggesting a faulty unit. Both the retailer and Panasonic seem more interested in avoiding their responsibility than providing a satisfactory resolution. My advice: steer clear of Carrier Split ACS and opt for a cooler instead—they're likely to cause less hassle and frustration.
I purchased carrier make1. 5 ton Ac on month of April 2023. This Ac still under warrenty. But carrier not given to any support to me regarding this issue on FOC basis. Carrier service and support Very bad. My AC indore unitgas line leackage. I informed to entire all custmer care and service support team. But they are saying mouse cut gas copper pipe. I'm surprised how to cut copper pipe by Mouse. I understood carrier product, service support very bad. I think from till now I will be not purchase any carrier product.
The team for installation could not install AC at 8.5 ft height as they did not have a ladder and other equipment

Recently I requested a service from Carrier from Ambattur Chennai. He has sent his agency person from Vijay Ganesh engg. Although problem was bcoz of stabilizer he asked me to check gas 410A. I have refilled in 2022. I asked him to show the pressure and if pressure reduced I ll refill. He asked soap water and when I went to bring soap water he opened and asked me to refill even though every thing was good. Carrier never cared about after sales service and they give agency to this type of worst people. So before purchasing Carrier please keep after sales service in mind. Worst product having lot of noise when it runs and very Third class service . There is no any responsible person in his hole entire team who resolve the problem of Coustmer so I suggest take any other brand don't waste your money with carrier
I bought one inverter split AC in 2019 and this year there was no proper cooling.When I contacted the customer care then one technician was sent to my address.That technician pretended to fill the refrigerant in my AC and probably didnot fill the gas properly.He took 3700 from me and cooling beacame OK.After 15 days the problem is same and now when I called the customer care then I was told that your complaint was not attended by any authorised mechanic.Your complaint was closed as duplicate complaint.
This is how carrier company operates.It assigns the repaire work to any outsourced service provider, who sends a mechanic to the address.The mechanic doesnot repaire properly and takes money then mechanic doesnot mentionthat he has attended the complaint and get the complaint closed as duplicate complaint.
This way the customer is cheated and carrier doesnot support its customer.
It is a worst company and people should not buy carrier product.

Carrier ac ke saath hamara bad experience rahahe. Hamne 3 central ac lagbayatha. 1year se adhik samay hogaya. Ek ac se 3 mahineke baad paani girna suruhogaya. Hamne bataya distributor ko.unhone bahatbar ake kosis kia but abhitak solve nehi karpaya.uske saath saath aur dono ac se pani girna suru hogaya unhone kosis karrahehe but suffer to hum horahehe.
Islie hamne bahatbar bola he company ko bolke iska solution nikalo or isko exchange karo.
Aaap batao solution kyahe.
Hame lagta he hamne carrier ac lagake galat decision leliya.

Never buy a carrier product , the product is also inferior and the after sales service is also disgusting, no timely service nor proper installation of the product , poor after sale , not sending technician for free services
Do not buy Carrier AC, I bought five AC in 10years, worst part service, they are Charging heavy and no transparent, no responsive and out sourcing service contract, In same carrier service person took calls in seperate website and doing side business in the name of carrier dealers. don't buy this product. now I am scraping all my ACs. moving to local vendor. Anyway life is four years.
Hopeless ac... Has been repaired 5 times within 6 months of purchase from service center rather being Replaced....n still they want happy code.
Just in 2-3 years it’s Mother Board have gone, exorbitantly high cost of repair. Worst service from Career team was pathetic. You keep calling and waiting for them. All AC technicians told not to buy Carrier AC as they are worst in service and repair. The spare parts are not easily available in outside market.
The PCB on my 1.2 Ton 5 Star AC has already been replaced 2 times by Carrier, but with no avail. It only lasts for a year and then it fails. It is not able to hold temparture and works only at 17c lowest temprature. And this time it has stopped to work even on 17. Save your money go for Hitachi, Diakin etc. Dont buy Carrier, Bluestar or Midea they are the same company with different branding.
The worst company and product ever! When the AC failed after two months, nobody came to fix it during the warranty period. Every day when we call, they simply respond with "tomorrow"! Just con artists! They sold you a product and fled! Never make a purchase! Never! if you want to save cash!
Worst experience ever. We had bought 1.5 Ton window AC in April 2022 and from the day one it was making huge noise when compressor starts. I have raised multiple complaints in this regard but not resolved the complaint. Third class company. Do not buy any product from this company. They are cheaters.
I have 6 of their VRV Acs installed and despite multiple emails to them and phone calls from them, their authorised persons do not turn up for service. Such equipments involve a fair amount of money to buy and install and it is irresponsible and callous on the part of these companies to not service products sold by them. It is also environmentally bad. It seems only a case in the consumer court and claim for damages will make them see reason.
