Terrible product and horrible service

I bought Carrier Emperia 1.5 ton Inverter split AC. Within two months the AC stopped functioning. Fan motor was found faulty by carrier technician on lodging a complaint. I was told the part requires replacement. But even after 15 days the AC part did not arrive. I made number of calls to customer care/service center but nothing moves in carrier. The service center is least bothered if you ask about the delay. Mail dropped to customersupport.india@carrier.utc.com does not get any reply.


Looks like they do not just care.

Please do never opt for this model of Carrier. It becomes sick very often. More to that, the AMC service of Carrier AC in Kolkata is a big fraud.


A bunch of LIARS and irresponsible team sit in their office,


Very disappointed with their Service.


Please think and buy a carrier product.

Faulty product, purchased on 16/3/2019, vide serial no(in) 11140500000518 no. 500477627189006223 creating low cooling problem from the date of installation. 5 times service man come for the problem, now they detected evaporator chocking and required to change the whole condensed unit which is awating. I am totally disappointed that after spending 32000/ I can't use the ac, though it is carrier(a trusted brand).i have mailed but a system generated mail only received. Don't purchase ac from carrier. Hopless company, hopless product.


However, lastly the product has been replaced by new one after 4 months from date of purchase. But the new Durfresh 12K(Neo) have not give sufficient cooling power though it is used R32 refrigerant. After running 2 hours it can't reach 28 degree C when the room temperature is 32-33 degree and the machine do not auto cut off. Auto cut-off system is available only 30 degree C. Service engineer told that they have nothing to do in this regard.This is the system of the machine.

After purchasing the product it's been 6 months I'm reviewing it.


Initially the product seems to be ok but after 2 months the cooling decreased and after making a Complaint the customer care sent there service boy and he was not able to rectify the problem and said we will be calling our engineers and they will be solving your problem and they came after 1 month and solved my problem but it again occurred after 2 months.


Just fed up with there customer support.


For saving 2-4k rupees you will have to wait for months to get it repaired.


The 1.5 tonn now atcs like 1 tonn ac and comsumes power like 2 tonn.


The sound of operations is smooth no complaints in that.


The company said that the product is reliable but it not seems to be so.


Even after paying a huge amount the ac does not work properly and I have to get it repaired outside.


The ac does not fits in value for money proposition and is not recommended from my side.

Bad performance, very bad service, all customer care and corporate numbers mentioned on websites are not valid whom to contact and whom to reach out, all fake commitments done by dealer before buying. No replacement for faulty ac.

The AC as such performs as per the specs given in the description. However, don't fall for the promise of installation within 48 hrs on amazon! After 48 hrs of wait, when nobody turned up for installation, I turned to Amazon for help, who informed me that someone would be reaching out to me in a couple of hrs to fix a slot and install on the same day, which didn't happen. This routine of me calling and chasing them went on for the next 2 days, at the end of which I understood that Amazon team don't really chase the supplier, but simply raise an alert in their system to the supplier, which is not taken too seriously by the supplier. I was also informed by the Amazon team that they cannot contact the supplier as it's not their process and hence requested me to call Carrier's customer care and follow up. Carrier according to me has the worst customer care center as their executives are absolutely clueless. I finally figured out carrier's local dealer in my area and called him to confirm if he is in charge of installation in my case. He looked up in his records and confirmed that I fall under his zone and promised to send a team the same day, which never happened. I had to chase him every 2 hrs and finally he sent someone after 2 days of chasing to install the AC. I already regret buying this AC as I have experienced the inefficiency of customer care first hand and I'm pretty sure that I cannot expect anything close to a resolution in case of future concerns. I was previously warned by some of carrier AC users who had complained of poor customer care, which I should have considered! Please avoid

I bought superia ac in June 2015 , running well , got msg on it PO , call call centre locked complain, person came from distributor , without knowing the fact told that PCB is to be changed , within hr received call for change of PCB , and cost is 20000, for outer PCB, as no engineer available in BILASPUR , simply change it , there may be fault of compressor , but it was told that first pay 20000/- then we will check whether there is problem in compressor or not. Such type of reply from service engineer , why shall one change PCB , they don't come with tool to check PCB , or compressor, bad service , pl see if any one can help me out

Guys winter is about to end so it's a good time to start buying goodies for summer especially the one which we need a lot for a climatic condition like Mumbai


This AC is very good for 1.5 ton choice since it provides the best cooling with its advanced turbo mode for extra cooling with sleep, Auto swing and much more features


Only it's gone is that its duct is big in size and nothing else

It is a wonderful product I live in top floor in Mumbai . The temp rose to 38-40 but it was able to cool the room in no time that too in the afternoon. Elec bill also come less as compared to my precious ac. Cooling is certainly not a problem so far. My room is 1215 but it gets cool in 10 min. There is no noise. Auto cut is there. It consume less electricity. I am using it from last 8 months. Great product. I can recommend everyone for this product.

I have bought this ac on 12 October 2018. But it didn't stand on my expectation as it didn't cool much even on 17° c.


I have blue star ac earlier it cooled my room in just 2 hrs on 20° c but this ac on 17° c chills in 4-5 hrs.


Overall people should not go over this product.


Even I contact the customer care executive but they said this ac capacity is only what you are getting.

The service given by carrier call center and service centre is very bad.i have booked a new pcb and the service center said within three days it will be delivered bt today around 15 days passed away but no service given till now.so better to buy other as the service given by them is very bad

Dear All,


First of all whatever you seeing below in reviews are all correct and I am going to tell you the honest why or why not buy this Carrier A/C. I am giving this review on after 5 days of use.


Pros:


• Split A/C


• 1.5 Ton A/C with 4 special features like ( Turbo Mode, Follow me Feature, Favorite mode feature and Refrigerant Leakage Detector)


• One call service assistant and free Demo


• Instant super cooling ( I feel like I am in Shimla at just 24 degree)


• First 3 service will be free 1 wet 2 dry ( 4th will be @ INR 450 + GST )


• 2018 model with 3 star ( Means money saving)


Cons:


• Outdoor unit is noisy like Generator


• Bad Customer services ( Lack of co-ordination)


• No remote stand.


• Just 3 feet free copper and installation wire.


• Outdoor unit is too much bigger ( Weight around 45kg)


• Outdoor unit has no cover


• In silent mode A/C fan turns off and it feel like cooler with no sound.


• Installation chargers are ( INR 499 + INR 250 ) , Amazon and Carrier saying INR 250 will be extra charges if you are assembling you outdoor A/C on you wall with your own stand. Else, the Chagres would be INR 499 Only if you assemble it on floor.


• The Carrier will charge you INR 750 extra if you need to hang your outdoor unit on wall.


Think twice buying an A/C online. I complained about A/C sound but company has no solution for it. I though Carrier is the best is cooling and some where I am right but its outdoor is totally noisy. I like the A/C personally. They can make it better but I don’t know why don’t have solution for noise? I would give 4 star for Customer services of Carrier ( as they are pretty fast in installation, and just give them a call they will help you for sure) . 5 stars for Cooling. 3 STAR for its Design and Remote. 1 STAR for its outdoor noise.

Condensation from AC

I bought Carrier AC 5 years ago. We have 3 samsung Ac one Lg in total.


But unfortunately the most expensive and well know brand like Carrier who is know for quality product has failed to perform. I personally bought this for my bedroom and now I am being mocked upon because of this faulty product.


Every year same issue of water leakage happens.


None of the other AC's hvthis leakage issue. Everyyear technician comes cleans the filters and takes off, last visit on 13th april 2018bthey filled in gas. But condensation problem persists.


Really disappointed on my decision.

I purchased 3 Nos. 1.5 Ton Window AC with 5 star rating of Carrier Make from Ankur Electricals, Sector 18, Noida on 26.03.17. However, Gas leaked withing 6 month of purchase due to spurious Coils in all the AC. All the coils were found unusable by Career Service. They first welded and then subsequently replaced coils in 2 AC but did not replaced coil in 3rd AC despite by begging. I suffered heavy financial loss apart from mental torture and summer burns.

Hey. Im sharing my personal review on this split ac. Firstly tell about services and support no any service centre are provided or available in locality, many problems are faces due to its services.


If I talking about cooling it is slight ok but not true for money, sound is very noisy sometimes it makes hard to sleep in peace. Although many features are provided by company im its variant. But in my personal review im not satisfied with there product. Im strongly didnt recommend you to buy this product. It is not for value for money, in this you can bye many others ac available in market.

its really Very Poor Support in Carrier AC. Failed within in 3 month and From Last 3 Month Survive to Take Followup to Repair.

My experience with this company is very poor don't buy carrier AC and better to buy other companies AC.

I have purchased this Ac 20 days back but its not at all good bcuz in these days 6 times servicing person came to do service. I never heard that for new AC need to be servicing with in 20days and this much time.one more thing in that Ac that is not at all cooling and my room size only 10* 10 and product is Carrier Ac 2 ton durofresh x which is lasted product eventhough not working properly, as per me its wrost of money after that the shopkeeper is not ready to return the cost of Ac so be careful to buy new carrier Ac durofresh x. And I want to cost of Ac to be return and take Ac from my house its just like showpiece in my house nothing else. shopkeeper name Rahul at Jaipur from electronic world.

I bought this AC, its very cooled compare to other this AC can cover your complete room are within 3 mins. Its remote functions are also has many variance. Compare to others companies I will prefer Carrier Ac. So All is good except electricity bill. its electricity consumption is bit high compared to others, otherwise overall is very good.
