I used them for booking hotel at Ho Chi Minh. In spite of pre boooking and and advance payment, the hotel told me that they have no room left for me when I arrived on the evening of booking day. Basically, Agoda is very unreliable, boosts crapy hotels (some vested interests may be) and posts deceptive images for most of the hotels.I'd never use their platform again. Because of the I'd to go search another hotel in middle of night (while I was with family), and pay double price else where. The customer support never reaponded to me about the complaint, not did they refund my online payment so far... THEY ARE PATHETIC...

I booked first time through this website, this is just a spam app. I filtered hotels during booking according to my guest list. I am travelling with 4 adults(including me) and two children. The Agoda showed me filtered Resorts, I booked top rated out of them. then at the time of booking it shows you nothing, just asks for prime guest name and number and booking is done. Once booking is completed and your money is deducted the real scam starts from here. I go to manage guest list and only four guests are booked in the Resort, and my children info is not included in the booking. I get the booking details try to add kids names and there is no option, I thought as Agoda was showing children below 8 years age was free so there might be no need to mention the names. Then I am trying to contact Agoda Customer Service. They have only a bot which can not answer its predesigned questions and they call it an AI Bot. Agoda has no customerservice, so I called the Resort for information that guy says you ask agoda about the probems we are not answerable to you. There is no clear ention of policies on agoda and then the sudden changes and suprises of policies from resort we need to bear it. As they are not aswerable to us and Agoda has already ghosted us. Cheats!

Had a terrible experience with this App

They said hotel is 3 star and actually the hotel is less than a guest house.

When contacted they said they are helpless and refund can be made.

I am attaching some pic to understand more on this. DONT USE THIS APP IT WILL RUIN YOUR TRIPS

My sincere advice to travellers in desperation never use agoda.com for booking any flights. I booked a flight to shirdi and had to cancel it due to unavoidable circumstances. The airlines has sent details that there will be cancellation charges and the rest will be refunded. but agoda sends me a mail saying airlines refused to refund. they ask me to go to the airlines and check. will an airline lie.unlikely at least the airline would refuse refund if I was not eligible. Agoda makes money through cancellations via vulnerable desperate travellers. NEVER NEVER book through agoda. Take your time read review and then book.They have an AI powered chat rep who keeps taking you back and forth to booking booking details etc., no responses come in. How can anyone put sense into an AI rep!

This company is a fraud. I booked a hotel with certain price. When I arrived, they ask for more money. The hotel guys says they don't know what Agoda is. Agoda customer service is terrible. This is a full scam. I don't have 0 star option, so I am giving 1 star.

Hi, i would like to share my 1st hand experience how mis leading and disowning agoda is. I had my booking at prayagraj done in Oct. I had confirmation. When i called the property (number given in booking) it was OLA call center. She says booking was done via booking .com not agoda. (My booking was in agoda and can see my booking details in app). They confirmed booking is there and active. On the day when I reach property in jan 2025. The property say they have no relation with Ola or booking.com I paid 9k per room per day

When i again called same number Ola agent tried to talk to hotel person and he shouted bavk and disconnected the call. So Ola call center agent say we are sorry no room.

So pls think twice before booking at agoda they have no control over our booking or hotel.

Pathetic pathetic experience and customer care. They say and email illogically mindless stuff.

They don't provide cancellation Or check out date change even if you have that feature in ir booking. They will never refund. So never book thru agoda with prepayment.

I booked a condo in Agoda. I only booked one two-bedroom unit but they charged me twice for it. I only know it when the housekeeper of the unit informed me that I have two units. How am I going to use two units when we are only 5 guests and a two bedroom unit is enough for us? I called Agoda and a representative told me they can't refund nor do anything about it. My bank doesn't have an option to talk to live representative to report the charge as fraud. This is really a mess. I am very disappointed I got ripped off. I would never recommend agoda.com to anyone at all. Stay away from it! Never again!

This company is a scam. Customer service is terrible. They hang up on calls and lie to client. They booked one of my booking twice and the hotel charged me for no show fee. I didn't know until they asked me to contact the hotel. I was told by hotel that Agoda booked one of my booking via booking.com. I provided the conversation to their rep and they told me that they would contact the hotel for the refund. However, after few days waiting, Agoda told me the hotel refused to refund the fee. Nothing that they can do and they will close the case. Apparently, Agoda wants clients to pay for their system error/mistake. I kept sending multiple emails to escalate my case but received the same response. They try to push client to pay for the amount. I wrote the review, so they called me and kept telling the same story. I asked the rep if she knew another contact number or person that I can talk. She said there is no department to escalate. They are the one who help clients to solve problem but she couldn't. She ended hanging up on me. I can't believe this is the company service. If anyone knows how to escalate further or take legal action, please advise. Never use this company again and I strongly recommend people do not use this platform. You might end up paying money like me.

I wanted to give -10(Minus Ten) to AGODA but, the option is not there. I booked a Hotel in Kerala through the Agoda website and I got a confirmation email from Agoda. Booking ID: 1493023361. I reached the hotel on time and to my surprise, the Hotel Staff said they do not tie up with Agoda. I booked a Non-AC Standard Room but, to my surprise, the hotel guys told me every room of their hotel is AC. "We do not have any non-AC rooms at all" is their version. My circus started there.I started looking for customer care/any link to raise a complaint/any kind of escalation mechanism. Trust me, they do not keep anything of that sort. I end up booking freshly with additional money with the Hotel. These Agoda bastards are the worst looters/scammers/bastards what not anything you can Imagine. Please do not fall into their trap and lose your money like me. Thanks

Agoda is not reliable. My wife booked the hotel in somnath, as there was good deal on Agoda and we got the confirmation too, but 1 day prior to check in, the hotel staff called me and said, they can't provide the room. When I called Agoda, their representative said we can't do anything as it all depends on Hotel’s availability, I was wondering then why are they listing and booking the hotel if they have no control. Some of the hotel managers also suggested that don't book via agoda, as there is no tie up with them but Agoda still listing their hotel on the website.

PATHETIC FRAUDULENT SITE IT HAPPENED WITH ME TWICE FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS AN ANOMALY ON MY JAIPUR VISIT BUT NOW IT IS SECOND TIME .BEWRE OF THEM.THEY CHARGE YOU EXTRA THEY CONFIRM UR BOOKING WITHOUT HOTEL CONSENT IF booking gets CANCELLED accidentally no option to undo ...even wilh multiple follow up you can't get it reverted even if hotel agrees these cheats don't let them to continue with booking. The most important one these fradulents charge you extra on your saved credit card when asked they said it was some taxes. These tax not mentioned in voice why!

I had a terrible experience with Agoda when I booked a stay in Dalhousie for December 2024. I specifically booked for 6 adults and 4 children. However, upon receiving the itinerary, I noticed that the children were not included in the booking. When I reached out to Agoda support, they initially had no answers but later claimed to have resolved the issue by contacting the hotel and adding the 4 children. They assured me everything was fine.

However, when we arrived at the hotel, we were shocked to be charged an unexpectedly high amount for the children. Agoda failed to resolve the issue and only offered an apology, which is unacceptable.

I am extremely disappointed and will never use Agoda again. I am also deleting the app and strongly recommend others stay away from Agoda. Even the hotel staff warned me about the lack of transparency in Agoda’s bookings and advised me to use a platform with proper support in India. It is evident Agoda has no support in India, which makes resolving such issues a nightmare.

To make matters worse, when I checked again to book the same number of guests and rooms, the price was significantly lower than what I paid. I requested Agoda to honor their "Best Price Guarantee" policy, providing all necessary screenshots as proof. They refused, claiming the request should have been made earlier, even though they had delayed responding to my issue for days.

As an Australian, I expected much better customer support and service standards. Agoda has failed on every front, and I cannot recommend them to anyone.

Avoid agoda at all cost. They will show u a price and write after cash back on ot .

You will be fooled by the low price . But once you get to the total they will try to chsrge you the whole amount and say you will get the discunt in something called cashback .

Which u will never grt cus its available after 60days after the check out date . You wont be traveling so the cashback will expire .

Lets say you find an apparmrnt for the price 30$ a day . They will show u 30$ . But when you get to the paiment they will give you a total that u wont pay attention to . So lets say its 10day/ 30$/night .

You will end up with a total of 400$ instead of

I booked my hotel in Lucknow, India through Agoda and after 60 days according to T&c and the cashback expires after 120 days I was eligible for cashback. After 60 days I did claim for the cashback but within 10 days my claim was rejected. I did everything in my capacity and called customer care for hours, they put my call on hold for hours and after that they disconnected my call. I tried chatting on app but after hours no response and chat was closed.

This fraud is on rise, you'll think you'll get the cashback on but despite numerous attempts you will not get even if you comply with all T&c of Agoda.
