I saw a newspaper ad a fortnight back regarding online grocery shopping website Zopnow which listed a host of attractive features like ease of placing the order, convinient delivery timings, tracking order etc. The best part I liked is the number of hours we waste in traffic reaching a mall/ store, waiting for parking, busy stores, waiting in line for bill payment etc. Given the chaotic way Bangalore roads are becoming, these sort of websites are really useful. Well, as a test run, I placed an order for my monthly groceries and opted for Cash-on-delivery. Just like Flipkart, the site is really easy to go around and find the items that you need. The groceries of limited brands (I can understand this as it is just a start-up), various sizes (from as low as 50gms to 10kgs, across variants), shopping cart- it's just amazing.
The best part was the delivery- You can opt for three different schedules- Morning, Afternoon and Evening. You can swipe the card at your doorstep as these people carry PoS terminals. Meal coupons are accepted. And what more, you earn reward points everytime you shop- same as applicable at any major outlet. The delivery was done at the promised time in neatly packed containers. Kudos to them for not using any plastic. And, another major point is the order for any freezer items- they do carry a mobile cool-box (similar to the one we find in few cars) so that the items remain as fresh as you buy from a grocery shop. If you want to save time, energy, look no further- this is the best bet- and, not to mention- you can have control on your expense.s No purchase of unnecessary fancy items that are not in your monthly grocery list..
By the way- I am not marketing this product and I don't receive any goodies for this write-up. Don't trust my write-up. Test them to believe them.
Thanks
