On 20th september 2017 I had booked for Ford figo from ZOOMCAR with booking ID JPS6TTFYJ by paying Rs.19147 from Mysuru to pick up the car from Jaipur International airport terminal(Rajasthan) on 29th september at 9:00am and to return it on 3rd october 2017 at 3:00pm.


On 29th september when I arrived at jaipur airport Zoomcar representative asked me to come near bank of baroda in spite of already charging Rs.300/- for airport vehicle pickup when I refused he delivered the vehicle(FORD FIGO) bearing registration number RJ 14 TD 6780 at Jaipur airport terminal.The vehicle was not properly cleaned, suspension was very weak, right side of front wheel had only 30% of life, Tyre alignment wasn't proper and already had external damages basically the car was not maintained properly and the vehicle was yellow board( not black & yellow)without registration number written on both the side of the vehicle .So, I expressed these things to zoomcar representative Mr.Akshay he said he has only this vehicle.When I asked for checklist he didn't have it nor did he inform about their app checklist about which I came to know later through customer care and told me to just make a video of the vehicle.This guy was chewing pan parag and using cell phone through out.As there was no other options I started my journey towards Ajmer.


After around 40kms on Jaipur Krishnagarh expressway NH-8(NH79) a two wheeler came from the wrong side of the expressway and hit the left side of my vehicle and fled away.In my 27 years of driving experience this was the first time I hit.I tried my maximum to avoid this accident but because of weak braking and defects of the vehicle the vehicle dragged even on economy speed before coming into halt.In instance of proper vehicle would have stopped afar .I immediately stopped the vehicle and informed about this to Zoomcar Accident customer care.They asked me to send the photos of all 4 sides of the car through whatsapp.I did so.After one hour Zoomcar accident team informed me that no police complaint is not necessary for this case and I could continue my journey while dropping the vehicle they would estimate the repair cost and it would be deducted it from my security deposit.But as there was 1000kms ahead of my destination and being responsible person I didn't want to put my safety and safety of others on road into peril as vehicle being not safe and upto satisfaction.I requested for alternative vehicle from zoomcar they said I could return the vehicle back & they would let me know then or get it serviced from authorised service center on the way and submit bills later.Then I decided to drop of RJ 14 TD 6870 So, I returned to Jaipur Zoomcar office at Gold Souk Grand mall.The person in charge over there checked the speed of the vehicle at the time of accident and took the car for test drive and confirmed that the condition of the vehicle was bad due to vehicle defects such as suspension and braking as the vehicle skid during multiple trials of brake during test drive. There I had to wait for about 1 hour just to contact customer care as it said busy all the while no alternatives( 18601239666) I had to call there WhatsApp accident number which is of no help.To know what next I had to do they told me to end this trip, fill the accident form which they didn't have over there so, I gave in letter and book one more vehicle through their app as assured me that I can continue by paying for new booking and they would refund the amount of the previous booking within 48 hours with complete details and deduction of repair cost only.


I was not informed about any of their policies in spite of asking them again & again about ending my first trip before making my new booking as suggested by them and refund initiation.The customer care showed adment, bad behavior and weren't helpful at all as I had to communicate between them and the officials in charge at Jaipur zoomcar.This shows they are manipulating with their policies for making profit and also negiligance by putting life of customer in risk by giving faulty hazards vehicle.


I received my next vehicle(Maruti Suzuki Swift) which I had booked through my app with booking id JPS6T41YJ by paying Rs.18811/- for which I had to wait for long time as the costumer care had to confirm about this to representative over there in zoomcar pickup office the whole process was cumbersome every time the I had to contact the customer care they didn't take any responsibility to do the proceedings and the place over there was pathetic as the ambiance was bad(filled with mosquitoes, no proper place to sit & bad smell) and had no official who could handel.It took almost 2 hours.I received the vehicle bearing registration no DL 1 NA 1086 at 3:00pm which was good and I successfully drove the vehicle for 1420kms and returned it on 3rd october at 3:00pm.I had no issues with it.


As of 9 days on 7th October I hadn't received any reply and refund from zoomcar side regarding Booking ID JPS6TTFYS even for the sake of courtesy. So, I mailed them about this.Surprisingly on 10th October they replied saying that there is no refund for booking ID JPS6TTFYJ.Then I expressed my dissatisfaction through another mail.After two days I received a call from 8067481900 who said that vehicle repair cost is Rs.5000/- and that amount is adjusted with security deposit and the refund of remaining amount can not be possible.I asked them to furnish the repair expenses bills which they are not ready to show.I had driven the vehicle for only 98kms for which they have collected 19, 147/- including fuel cost for 1200kms.Still 1102km worth of fuel is left.I haven't received any refund or any details till today
