I am not satisfied with Zeeshan now!!. Review on Zeeshan, Ballygunge, Kolkata

Zeeshan- this name has become a brand for the food lovers in Kolkata for so many years! We have seen several Zeeshan outlets formed in various parts of the city.

I have dines in lots of Zeeshan outlet or took away food stuff too. I had experience to taste their foods in Ballygunj, Park Circus, Garia( Now closed) and Padmasree Outlet.

They are mainly famous for their Biryani and several chicken and mutton delicacies. Apart, they  provide great Chicken roll, Mutton Rolls, tikia Rolls etc. They are one of the best kebar makers in the city.

But, over the last few years, they are just good in maintaining the same quality for Rolls and Kebabs. But, They are not at their best in making Biryani now. Quantity of the Biryani has decreased over time and the price has increased. taste is also not great like earlier days!

I have also tasted their chicken and mutton delicacies in recent past. All these preparations are not that great now and taste is not satisfactory.

Only few days back, I had a small gathering in my house with some of my close friends coming over to my place for dinner. We fixed the main menu as Butter nun, Tandoori Roti, Chicken Bharta and  Haleem. Haleem is a special food during this holy Ramadan period, and so mos of friends wanted to taste it from any reputed food joint.

I have ordered Butter Nun and Tandoori Roti from a restaurant near to my place( Dhaba in Baghajatin) and for the main course I deiced to purchase from Zeeshan, BallyGunj outlet.

I have got the food stuff packed for home. To our dismay, both Chicken Bharta and Haleem bought from Zeeshan was not at all tasty!  We had home made chicken curry and egg fry preparation at home and my guests were more happy dining with these items. Later, we also did not like the taste of Chicken Bharta and Haleem. So, it was a very bad experience for me.

I have decided not to purchase main course food for any future part or gathering at my house from Zeeshan. It was really a bad decision on my part to select this brand.

I am not recommending it.
