UNSUNG HERO. Review on Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh is the one of the finest player in this world of cricket. Indians are full of talents and one of them is Yuvraj. He is just great.

He is having soft corner in my heart from the first time he played at international level. That is he played the junior world cup in 1999 and Indian team was the only unbeaten team in that tournament. And he along with Kaif, rise from junior to senior championship. Kaif was the captain of the team.

Yuvraj had a fascinating debut series and that was mini world cup help in Dhaka. He played superbly there. I was really enjoying the strokes of his at no. 7 and more than that I enjoyed seeing the desperate faces of the bowlers. Till today after this long time I still remember the match of that series between India and South Africa. It was semi final. He came when slog overs where going on. Donald, one of the best bowlers, was bowling and he played that rocket pull shot. More than shot I still remember the face of Donald. He was seeing such a devilish eyes that it looks like that he wants to cry but there is no tear in his eyes.

This was just a one miracle of our great heroes. One is more, which will be remembered forever, the Natwest final between India & England. No scope for India to win. He came and along with Kaif, they make the Indian team won that match. And you know I have seen that match 10 times but every time I see this match I began to cry. And there is sheer excitement thou the match is not live.

I called him an unsung hero bcoz in our team there are many heroes. Sachin, Dravid and bowlers, that his performance is over shadowed by the performance of these players. And also he comes to bat at no. 5 and he does not get chance to play oftenly. And that’s the reason that he is not able to make huge scores. And he is really capable of it.

Scores and runs are not everything. He is the best fielder of the world right now. He had shown that in many matches. He is just like drunken monkey in the field. He can jump, dive and can do anything. And that’s what I like about him. He just enjoys every part of this game. Not only batting or bowling but also he loves fielding too and that’s the reason of his success.

He can be part time bowler, which can be helpful anytime when needed. He is the player, which Indian team was searching from a long time and this search is no over.

What ever people says I adore this player and he is really committed to this game. And he is never to say die spirit. He is just great and can’t be described in words.
