Hey Friends, First time I am daring to write a book review. Well, I am not a regular book reader. I had never read any book in my life (except in school..;) but one of my good friends advised me to read books in my free time. I did not like his idea but yet I tried to read books. I have read four books till now and now I love reading books. My perception has been changed and I prefer reading books instead of listening music while traveling or in my free time. So I have decided to write a review on a book I have recently completed You were my Crush ! …till you said you love me!

He is an engineer from Delhi College of Engineering and just completed his management studies in 2011. He is one of the youngest and most creative authors in India. His way of narrating a scene is very impressive. He was declared as a Young Achieverby Times of India.Moreover, he has a very cute and charming smile…;)

His co-author Orvana Ghai has been a blogger and also has keen interest in dancing.

Characters:

Benoy (The Protagonist-Very cute & sweet boy by his looks),

Shaina (His love- The most prettiest and beautiful girl to ignore),

Eshaan (Benoy’s college friend- Always keeps his nose in other’s business and always ready to help them),

Deb (His Friend- He is like his brother),

Avantika (Deb’s Girlfriend- The 2nd most prettiest girl for Benoy),

Diya (Shaina’s sister- Benoy’s best and sweetest friend ever),

Mr. and Mrs. Nair (Diya’s and Shaina’s typical Indian Parents means very strict for their girls),

Manoj (Shaina’s love- an average creepy looking basta..rd!(for benoy :P) and

Mr. Roy(Benoy’s Dad- Very smart, rich and charming personality).

Story:

It’s a story about Benoy Roywho has a big house (in which he lives alone), a big car (but he doesn’t has a buddy to accompany) and moreover a Rich Dad (with whom he doesn’t has good relation) who provides him everything he wants. Despite having everything he has nothing. He was just a Rich Brat in everyone’s eyes. Everyone thought that he has everything but nobody knows that he has nothing to care about in his life. He lost his mother one year ago due to cancer and doesn’t have Father-Son relation with his Dad. Because he thinks that his father is liable for his mother’s death. But somewhere inside he has had some personality complex from his dad because of his good personality with good British accent and also he used to drive a Bentley.

He was studying in college but he doesn’t know anyone except Eshaanwho always takes care of others in their matters. Benoy’s Dad always buys his teacher’s to give him good marks without any study but one day through Eshaan he came to know that one strict and quite young teacher has joined the college as a professor and his dad can’t buy him and he has to do study hard now. During this he met a girl with big spectacles, dull clothes and curly hairs. In the starting they both hate each other like anything but as time passed Diya and Benoy became best friends.

They like to spend time with each other. Now he love studies and became a quite responsible man in his life.

One fine day while going through Diya’s facebook profile he saw her picture with a beautiful girl. She was too beautiful to ignore. She had sharp features with big puppy eyes. She was fair. She had a beautiful smile on her face in those pictures. She was the prettiest girl on facebook. She was just perfect! He had a big crush on her…facebook crush.

He badly wanted to know about her. He wanted to ask about her from Diya but he couldn’t do that because he didn’t want to prove himself as a Rich Brat!After many efforts finally he came to know that she is Diya’s Sister. One day he got a chance to meet her and started loving her. Their meetings behind Diya’s back take them closer. Finally the day comes when they kissedand then story turns other way round. Shaina was not happy because she was already dating Manoj.

What would happened next..??

Would they finally meet?

Would Shaina dump Manoj for Benoy or not?

Would one day Benoy forgave his father?

My Views:

I like this book. I like Durjoy’s way to define things by his good writing skills. The way he narrate the story is very simple, good and understandable. He portrayed all the characters very nicely. The scene where he narrates the past memories of Benoy’s mother is just amazing. All the lines and words are full of emotions and motherly love. There is nothing to get bore.

It claims to be the most liked book on facebook pre-release.Its story is very good but the best part of this book is its Climax.What a climax…Wow!!! It is like you are watching a movie. Climax will make you smile for sure. It’s a totally entertaining book with Romance, Little Laugh, Little Sadness and lots of Smileyes..:-)

I would especially recommend this book to those who love to read love stories!!!
