I went through a lot of reviews about YouBroadband over the internet and yes 99.7% of the reviews showed that I should not get YouBroadband. Later I asked some of my neighbors regarding YouBroadband as they were using it for a long duration and they said it's pretty good and suggested me to go for it(the problem was only YouBroadband and BSNL are available in our building) I was using BSNL but being on old telephone ADSL lines its speed was too slow. So I decided to get YouBroadband as my neighbors suggested that the service in our building is good.
I contacted the phone number written on our society gate and got in touch with the local salesman.
He gave me the plans I selected the 33 Mbps plan as it was sufficient for me and paid him the money and modem deposit. He followed up with me until I paid the money and then stopped picking up my calls, I finally managed to find the phone number of the sales head of Pune; Rakesh Phuge, I contacted him and got the connection installed after 15 days, where the company promises within 7day. The first impression was itself the bad impression but on the other side I thought due to the lockdown they might be facing a problem but finally got the connection installed. Initially, their connection was good got 37mbps on a 33mbps plan. I was happy. Only a few downtimes genuinely due to fiber cut/maintenance. My 3 month 3mbps plan expired and as the service was good I upgraded my plan to 50mbps and all the problems started
Internet disconnects after every 5minutes and takes about 2minutes to connect. Not only me but all members of society started facing the same problem. At least 10-15 members including me are continuously complaining for a month, to the call center, to the nodal the appellate but no one is even bothered to resolve the problem, even for the entire society.
they don't even care for the customer. It's a pretty long story but finally, after trying everything we could do from our side to make Youbroadband fix the issue everyone failed YouBroadband is like "we don't give a fk" So finally all the YouBroadband customers in our society decided to shift to Hathway, now let's see if Hathway is good or not. First impressions of Hathway are pretty good and they seem dedicated moreover their office is closeby so in case of any issue I can visit there and the people already using Hathway have a very good review and many of them are using Hathway for the past 7 years. But now I am stuck with Youbroadband for another 2Months as I have paid for 3Months
The final verdict is "Don't go for Youbroadband" Take these online reviews seriously. Even BSNL provides better services, their connection although slow works continuously and uninterrupted and good
