I was attracted by 7% interest rate on savings account initially. This is more than many FD rates for some periods at many banks.
They offer UNLIMITED ATM TRANSACTIONS at any of ATMs at NO COST. This is an awesomely huge flexibility.
INTERNET BANKING - Zero fees for NEFT and RTGs transactions- TOTALLY FREE again this is matchless. Internet banking is quick and simple, with no fancy stuff.
PHONE BANKING app is AWESOME, very light, secure, quick and easy. This enables me to pay bills, make transfers as and when I want like while in a vehicle, restaurant etc.
This feature enables one to transfer funds even when u r abroad. Internet banking needs mobile sms OTP authentication and while in another country, u may not want to use ur Indian number. But phone banking doesn't need sms authentication
Cheque books are free like most banks. Sms services for every debit and credit is free and is quite prompt.
CUSTOMER SERVICE is SUPER EXCELLENT.
Best part is the staff know their stuff. Easy to get them and are almost always available. No need to keep pressing various numbers to get a human on the line. Withing 15 sec u will get a person to hear u.
Whenever they take tasks which need time, cust care calls and assures u that it has been done. Like I changed my registered mobile number, so I had to enable mobile banking on the new number. They took the request and said it will be done in a day.
The next day they actually call u and tell u that it has been done and u can start using it. Though it was done much earlier and I had started using it already, but the point is they call u and assure that it has been done
THIS IS NEXT GENERATION BANKING - I OPENLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ALL LITERATE PEOPLE who have non zero experience in using banking services.
The only issue is they don't have too many branches. This is required for things like changing address etc. They are sometimes strict on compliance aspect. Like they made me go with original address proofs to their branch for changing my address, irritated me a bit because some banks do it just on phone, but glad at the same time because its secure this way.
NOTE: I wouldn't recommend this to people in the rural areas/ those who like visiting bank branches for almost everything / who have transactions less than 20k in a month.
