Feel-good movie with loads of fun. Review on Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Directed by Ayan Mukherjee this is his second movie with the talented Ranbir Kapoor after Wake up Sid. Produced by Karan Johar, the movie portrays friendship, love and dreams beautifully.

Ranbir(Bunny) is a dreamer, and wants to reach for the sky. He believes in fulfilling his dreams and making the best. He has a zing for life and aims to travel the world. A social animal, he is super confident, cool and just the type of person you would love to be.

Deepika(Naina) is the 'scholar Naina' right from school. A medical student, she has never let her hair down. Immersed in her books, she is the'chasmish' who wants to have a crazy time but has no idea how to make it happen until she meets Bunny who gives her the confidence that she can let herself go.

Kalki(Aditi) is the brat who has a crush on Aditya Roy Kapoor(Avi). Avi has no idea and he loves his friends and daaru:)

Phase 1: Four friends and a cool trip to Manali, trekking in the snow-clad mountains, feeling the adrenaline rush and having the wackiest time of their life.

Naina here realizes her feelings for Bunny and enjoys the holiday to the hilt. She is energetic, full of life and in love. But, Bunny is chasing his dreams, and plans to set off to the US to turn it into a reality. Aditi understands Avi has no such feelings for her and comes to terms with this bitter truth. Avi is stunned with Bunny's decision to fly to the US.

Phase 2: Bunny and his dreams

Bunny is living the life he so wanted to have. Traveling the world over, and making new friends everyday. He marvels at life and the new adventures that life throws at him. Covering exciting places and people, he has no idea which part of the world he is going to explore next.

Phase 3: Aditi's wedding

Meanwhile, its Aditi's wedding back in India not with Avi but an engineer, Kunal Roy Kapoor(Tarun). They are poles apart but love just happens:) Avi's bar has run under loss and he has lost hopes in life. He is unable to face the fact that his dearest buddy, Bunny has gone so far away from him and also is more successful. Naina on the other hand is happy with her simple life and the new her. She is not a'chasmish', has begun to soak in the beauty of life and is content with herself.

Aditi's wedding brings back the four friends together, and a whole new level of friendship, and love.

Must say, the story is not astounding but makes you sing and dance just like all Karan Johar movies.

Also watch out for the sizzling chemistry of Ranbir-Deepika, and the peppy songs by Pritam. Watch out for Madhuri Dixit and the'ghagra' song. She is the most beautiful and graceful dancer ever.

It's a feel-good movie and proves Ranbir is one of the finest actors we have today. He can dance effortlessly(Badtameez dil) and make you fall in love with his badtameezi:)

Deepika looks gorgeous and has an amazing screen presence. Kalki is a natural. Aditya is the next talent to watch out for.
