What is the worst case scenario in shopping? You don’t get your buy, you lose your money and nobody answer you! That's my experience with Yebhi.
Many years back at the time when we send DD to buy online, I had a couple of loses from Ebay. Ever since I started paying online I had only good experiences. Here to mention Flipkart, who replaced an electronic gadget at my doorstep on fourth day of reporting, even before me returning the faulty product.
Blue stone, who refunded voluntarily a sum saying, with the market fluctuation of precious metal price, I didn’t have to pay the amount I transferred'. Even with Tradus where third party sell, the service were excellent. They were frequently following up whether I received the product or not.
Ok, coming back to my Yebhi experience. It is not the first time I am buying from Yebhi. (But note, unlike other reputed sites like Flipkart or Myntra, Yebhi sell cheap un branded Chinese products too. Once had to throw away a fabric product which caused itching.) On March 12 I ordered a pair of Puma sandals for Rs 999.
(Actually an year earlier I purchased the same product from Myntra at a much lower rate – of course on a discount coupon. I liked the product very much, that’s why again opted for that.) I proceeded with bank transfer and was informed as “Hot payment successful” from cc avenue the payment intermediary. But when I returned to Yebhi site it was shown as “Payment failure”. I checked my bank account and found that Rs 999 was deducted.
Immediately I send a email to customer service stating the details and a copy of electronic receipt of payment from my bank. On third day, I get a reply from them saying they have forwarded my mail to the 'concerned' department and they will sort it out. Nothing happens for another two days. Then I receive a mail from 'ccavenue' stating that my payment have been received and directing me to contact the order confirmation section at Yebhi, giving a link.
I mailed the section in the given link, but to this day haven’t heard anything from them. I again contacted the customer care centre, and after two days they mailed me back asking for my bank statement. I then forwarded the 'ccavenue” mail to them. It take another couple of days for them to reply, again insisting on my bank statement. Anyway, I took one bank statement from my bank's website in PDF and forwarded it. But after that, nobody have responded till now.
At a time when the people in our country just starting to experience online transfer and purchase with the confidence brought in by the excellent service of many honest online shops, one doesn't have to elaborate on the damages caused by these counterfeits. So, shop at Yebhi at your risk. In case something go wrong, nobody will answer you. You will lose your hard earned money!
