Order - YBH3712598
When I read reviews on MS, I was seriously not sure if I wanted to try yebhi. I had pretty much negative idea about the site. But I thought I've even given people like HS18 a chance (what a mistake that was!), so I should at least try yebhi once. Figuring I had nothing to lose since I can avail "try and buy" on my pincode, I ordered a casual pants from ELLE and a pair of jeans from LEE.
I was AMAZED that unlike other sites where your cart is auto emptied the moment you log out, yebhi left my cart as it is and even sent me friendly emails to inquire if I need support to place order. But that's not the amazing part. The pants I bought were added to yebhi at a revised price which was Rs 200 more than what it was when I had added to cart. No site I know of would still charge the older amount. But because the item was already in my cart, yebhi charged it to me for the older price itself (200 Rs. less than current sale price!). The product was also out of stock on site, but somehow the one that was added to my cart seemed to be available for me to order still, I was 100% expecting yebhi to contact me to cancel order saying it's out of stock but they actually delivered it! Well that is a sure shot way to make a customer feel special.
Shipping - As far as shipping is concerned I placed order later yesterday afternoon and got order today morning itself, not even 24hrs were taken. So if that isn't blazing fast, I don't know what is.
Customer care - since it was my first time ordering, I ran into some trouble with the site. It seems to avail "Try'n'buy" you need to tick this option at payment checkout else it won't be applied to your order as it's an optional feature. I didn't do that by mistake; I called customer care to rectify my mistake and after two failed calls of telling me it isn't possible once order is placed, the third executive had a word with her supervisor, and told me they'll talk to the delivery boy upon delivery as an exceptional case since my order contained out of stock items and I couldn't cancel and re-order the items. Though that wasn't necessary in the end because when I told the courier boy I had a word with customer care and to allow me to try before buy, he politely obliged without demanding a confirmation call to cust. care. I was really thankful to cust care exec and her supervisor being accommodating (and this is a first for me, since my experiences with CCEs only run mile long in the negative category).
The products - Yes, I could tell one of the pants (ELLE) wasn't exactly "factory brand new", it's tags were crumpled and all, but having worked in a clothing store myself, I know lot of keeping here and there and handling can make even new clothes look not so new. Rest assured both the products I got were new and in good condition so I accepted them.
The site - probably the only site that provides videos of real models wearing the exact garment you are looking at. Not all clothing have the videos, but most do. And it is very helpful in determining whether what you're about to buy will look good after wearing or not. If not, they still provide several pictures including close up of fabric. My only complaint was that the site lags bad, but it could be because a really great offer was going on in yebhi yesterday and maybe site experienced more load than usual. Still, it was a pain to navigate through and constantly refresh broken pages.
Deals - yebhi provides great discounts in form of short time deals. You should keep checking the site often and you'll definitely land up with something worth your money. If not, they have several discounts and promotions regularly going on too.
I can't vouch for yebhi as a whole since this has been my only experience shopping with them, but my experience was really good! Which was totally not what I was expecting after running into trouble with so many online sites. So my suggestion to you is that don't write off yebhi just based on the reviews here.
The site has potential, and from my personal experience, I can tell they have the biggest and widest range of collections in branded clothing too. For eg. The ELLE pants I bought here were not even available on ELLE's own site, much less any other site. You should try to go for Try n buy + COD to secure yourself against any possible let downs, and see for yourself what this site has got to offer you. I hope my good luck with yebhi continues because I'd definitely love to order from them again.
