If anyone is reading this review and you are planning to go on a trip through yatra then stop their itself. They are not worth it even if they say that they will give you all for free then also don't opt for the yatra.
I planned a trip to Thailand on Dec end and I had not checked for any reviews. before this, I went to Himachal from MakeMyTrip and all seemed fine so I didn't doubt on yatra thought they are all in the same format. I was coordinating with Mohini Verma who gave me all the details and told me that she would help me if I have any problems. but after my first payment, I couldn't get through her. Extn no. provided by her on the email wasn't reachable I tried for several weeks.
We were told that we would receive tickets 3-4days prior to our trip and we would get a call from them to give proper details of our trip. but yatra even failed in this, we followed up for tickets and even told customer care ppl to share to the earliest as we want to do ccy exchange for better rates. but they were adamant and provided us tickets on 26th Dec, 2 days before the trip and itinerary was shared to us on the 6.00pm evening of 27th a day prior to our trip and no number of the agent was provided, there was one emergency contact on an itinerary that's it.
Our group was not in one flight or one time, the agent had only our name. when we met them they asked us to wait for our flight landed at 12.30pm and we waited for everyone for almost 3.5 hours we left at around 4.00pm. the agent had no knowledge about other group members and said yatra had only provided our name.
After reaching Pattaya golden beach hotel, they made us wait for half an hour after traveling for 3hrs from bkg to Pattaya our booking wasn't confirmed. the agent wasn't there with us even the driver dropped us at the hotel and left. no one gave us sim cards we were helpless with no connectivity. after half hour of negotiation, we got rooms and we bought sim cards on our own n contacted agent who was rude and told us to "AAP KO MERE NAAM SE KYA KARNA HE AAP KA KAAM HOGAYA NA'" this is his exact words.
For any trip, no one co-ordinates no one called we called them upfront and they woke up at that time. we didn't meet our agent anytime. later we learned his name from other fellow travelers i.e MR. Bilal
We had opted for safari tour and we were an alone couple in our group tour who opted and paid 6000 inr/pp extra for underwater and safari.
Which as per the itinerary was on 1st Jan, we spoke with an agent to reschedule it on 31st but he said we cant you have to go as per your itinerary, we were fine with it. on the 31st night before going out we contacted agent again to reconfirm our pick up time but they gave us a shocker by saying that our safari tour was scheduled for 31st and they picked us and went for the tour to.
We were like what on earth is happening, whom did you pick up, who did you call. earlier trips we were picked up on time and even drivers called us if we were even a minute late. here they are saying that they picked up a couple from our hotel claiming to be us.
We were scammed by our agents they had no proof of any travelers as they had no photos. for all our tours guides or drivers took pics with our group to claim the travelers. when we asked our agent to share the pic he flatly denied at first then said that driver is saying that you ppl were late so he left. he was lying under his teeth. he destroyed our happy time for which we traveled. our new years eve went for a toss. the next day also he didn't do any arrangements and blamed us of lying to him. when we told him to check CCTV cams that we were still in the hotel and had left around 1.00pm to market. when we got upset and cross-questioned him he took a higher pitch and said that i'm not your servant. as if we are his charity case to whom he is giving donations. we paid extra just for this and we got duped. what's the use of paying in advance when they eat off your money and then you are left with nothing. on 1st we had to check out we went to safari on our own money by a local tour agent.
Most importantly shitty yatra customer care number 18602000900 doesn't work outside India. its a hoax, we tried this number so many times but it didn't go through, we were able to make calls to India but not the toll-free customer care number.
I was devasted with this trip so stressed out with this constant bickering. and scared of sudden changes in the plan. we were on our toes everytime guides and drivers were rude and followed a timeline and threatened us to leave us if we came late. it was the worst trip of my life.

Yatra gives false hopes and commitments never trust them.
Don't ever go for the yatra.
This is what I experienced in 4 days. this was my first international trip and I wanted it to be memorable so I opted for a tour package. now I guess it would have been better if I had gone on my own.
