Life is very much based on character and attire. Yamaha Rx 100 definitely speaks out the male ego loud and clear. It is a bike, which has a character quite distinct in the crowd. It has a brand image that reflects the simple rugged non-compromising attitude.
The Yamaha RX 100 is supposed to be the best 2 strokes bike that has been scorching Indian roads. The initial bikes 1985 to 1990 launched at a higher BHP compared to their cubic capacity (100 cc/ 12.2bhp). This gives the extra juice to touch 60kms in the shortest time even now.
The later models came with a slightly lesser BHP to facilitate better mileage. The changes were marginal in regard to mileage but the pickup got reduced to some extent. Nevertheless the Yamaha RX 100 still held the records of simple, low maintenance trouble free bike.
Truly speaking it is a confidence bike. Whenever we are standing in the red light just turned green or over taking, occasions do arise when we feel just a little more pickup power will give us the small hairline edge over others and zoom us ahead. Just be sure your Yamaha does understand you and it definitely has that extra for you just to push you at the cutting edge whoosh, leaving behind all others like small specks of mediocre on the road behind.
