I am visiting India after 12 years...and am huge bike fan but I was quite disappointed lookin at all the new 4 stroke bikes havnt ridden one yet. They look stylish but sound really sluggish. I can still make out an Rx100 just by its sound. I use to own one when I was here and want to get my hands on it again. This beast just flies. I remember I use to be able to clock 115 km/hr on this bike.
I even owned a Shogun and an RD350 but nothing compares to the Rx100. The comfort, the handling and the speed is just amazing. Shogun is a pretty fast bike too but I didnt like the way the bike handled. It is sad that they stopped manufacturing the Rx100. If you love speed and dont care about the mileage, this is the bike to have. Unless you are willing to shell out a huge sum of cash then you can get the R6 or the R1, but whats the point when you cant utilize the bike to its fullest potential.
For the Indian roads I think by far the Rx100 is best. I had some great times with my bike cos I had her fully tuned and she use to do a wheelie on a slip from first to second gear, sometimes when I least expected it to and I would end up lying on the road. The power that this bike packs for a 100cc is intense, she just flies at the drop of a hat leavin everyone else in the dust. Am sure all the Rx100 owners know what am talkin about.
Cheers to all the proud owners.
