Last year I bought my first bike in 33 years. Yes, after considering the 500 c limited edition Bullet, I finally treated myself to a 20 Year old Ramaha RX 100, my college sweetheart.(Well a friend used to have one)
Procurement Price: INR 9, 000
Restore charge: INR 14, 000
Restored at: Yaseen Bike Point, Versova, Mumbai
Restorer: Yaseen Bhai
Compliments received post restoration: 11 in the first one week
Maintenance: Just regular servicing and oil changes
Fuel Consumption: Less than what today's bikes would give but a steady 25 is better than my Honda City's 12.
I have never taken her for a spin outside of town, yet, but plan to do so soon. And when I do, am sure will come back and edit this review with a few Exotic Pictures and a sizzling video.
Its rain friendly, never stopped once so far in the last monsoon or this one, easy to ferry across the Jetty in Versova and hardly anyone ever eyes her to steal her.
Yamaha, Thanks for creating my wonder Babe.
