Am a proud owner of a blazing red Yamaha R15. The bike is altogether in a different class and you just cannot compare this technological marvel to pieces of mere metal like pulsar, apache etc.. etc... This motor comprises of a space age Diasyl forged piston and a liquid ( coolant ) cooled block for effective cooling.
The engine has 4 valves and is tech saavy with multi point fuel injection, a feature that is just available in cars ! Forget about tough cold starts and pulling the choke cable....
This is a SKD kit imported from Indonesia and the quality feel of the bike is simply unmatched.Pulsar boasts of an impressive advertisement while others in the league only try to catch up comparing their junk products to the R15.
I bought this bike at a time when YMIL was not even offering a test ride. YMIL was so confident about this bike's performance. YMIL targeted only serious customers. Hats off to a great bike from the Yamaha stable. If I could, I did buy just one more.
Pros :- Technology, Looks, Performance, Reliability, Razor sharp handling.
Cons :- The bend forward design.
