Hello everyone,

I bought Yamaha Fascino 5 months before in the month of Feb. I also own a TVS Jupiter and I am using Jupiter daily from last 4 years. What I feel this scooter has advantages/disadvantages over other scooters, I will share with you all in this review.

Yamaha launched Fascino in the year 2015 and since then it have pleased everyone with it's looks. The company claims that the scooter delivers a mileage of 66 kmpl. It has an engine capacity of 113cc, with self and kick start, and drum brakes.

So, after using it for 5 months here are pros/cons I feel this scooter possess.

PROS:-

  1. Build Quality - The build quality of this scooter gives it a slight more advantage above other scooters. It is build with fiber body, which makes it quite little lighter.

  2. Good Fuel Efficiency - The company claims that the scooter delivers around 66kmpl mileage, but after using it for 5 months I didn't got those figures, instead my scooter delivers around 55kmpl, which is not so bad.

  3. Elegant Style - No one can deny that Fascino is one the best looking scooter available in the market today. It has distinctive styling, which easily makes it stand alone in the crowd. Unlike Activa and Jupiter, as they both look a bit similiar, Fascino brought something new in the market.

  4. Refined Engine - There is no second doubt, that Fascino provides one of the most refined engine in the scooter segments. The engine is powerful enough for those long rides, and can easily handle the city rides as well.

CONS:-

  1. Tube Tyres - Yamaha doesn't provide tubeless tyres with this scooter, which easily makes this scooter vulnerable to punctures.

  2. No Disc Brakes - The price they are charging for this scooter is enough to provide disc brake int his scooter, but they fail to provide so.

  3. Headlamps - Headlamps are always on. No button or switch to turn off the headlamps. Even in daytime, the headlamps are on, which can drain the battery much more faster than any other scooter.

  4. Price - The scooter is slightly overpriced. As it rivals, Jupiter and Activa are available at the price of 55k, if you want to buy this scooter then you have to spend above 60k.

VERDICT - Overall it is a nice package of looks and power. If you are looking for new scooter and you prefer looks much more upon the power than this is definitely meant for you, otherwise if looks doesn't matter at all, you can go for other scooters as well.
