What happens when a new comer is given a bat and asked to perform in the international match against Australia? Sh?t happens. And that is exactly what happens in real life as well if things are given to the wrong person to be executed. They mess it up.
Well, nowadays online shopping is a trend and every cell believes in clicking that one button of the smartphone so as to cut the effort of going to the shop instead to purchase an item. These goods are then delivered by a courier. While some of them have a good knowledge of their job, some are absolutely clueless on what they are doing. And that is when you are put into a mess. Well I have been talking about my latest encounter with a courier named Xpressbees.
I had ordered a product from Paytm and they shipped it via this courier. I don’t know what is the thing about these couriers, probably the lesser money they charge from the website is why they receive these parcels. I had never heard of anything with such a name until then. And frankly speaking, I don’t want to hear of them again. Paytm handed over my product to Xpressbees one day after having placed the order and I was notified by an SMS from Paytm. Earlier I had ordered some items through Paytm but this is the first time they had shipped via this courier.
Xpressbess maintains a website that is seldom handled properly and has been initiated only for the purpose of it. They updated of having received the product and dispatching it from there. Then my parcel was history. No update. No message and no information. Unable to hold my patience, I called their customer executive on the fifth day who said my product was in Kolkata and would take another three-four days to reach the destination. Suprisingly, Kolkata is just a few hours ride from my city, which is Dhanbad. But I waited.
After exactly three days, I received a message from the courier that my parcel is out for delivery, but then by the end of the day the courier guy found it next cracking an IIT exam to find my house, which has been earlier effortlessly serviced by other couriers. After exchanging a series of phone calls and I-don’t-know and?, I finally asked the guy to stand at the main road from where I later fetched the product.
The problem is they are real slow. I mean like a tortoise. That stings and I don’t thing I am good at all with this patience thing so it really doesn’t help at all. They are new to this courier business and seriously need some modification to give a good service. Wake up guys. Wake up.
