*As we all are quite familiar with the brand Xiaomi well known as MI in India. Which entered into the Indian market last year with its on fire phone Mi3 and provided the customers a device with specifications that seemed to be reserved for the devices that rang between 40-50K last year.
And later it has launched several other products to hype up the market with it’s buzz all around but the craze which mi3 and redmi 1s brought to xiaomi sadly could not be done by other devices which followed on later and again to hype up the market once again this year xiaomi has launched a device under rupees 10k which seems to be a beast under the given specific price range. So is this the phone that can help xiaomi to gain a huge market share and is this the phone that u should be looking for lets find out.*
PROS:
• Premium build quality, very nice design for the price of mere Rs9, 999. The phone is good to touch and the in hand feel is also just awesome. And the device does feel like out of this price segment.
• Display quality and the ability to change display properties.
• The display here is the 5.5” 1080p Full HD Display and it comes with sunlight display technology from Xiaomi.
• The display gives you good colour saturation and good visibility and the ability to change standard mode, reading mode and multiple modes and has colour temperature control which you will find in the display settings where you can make the display look like the way you want it to look. It’s a pleasure to watch videos on it.
• The audio quality that it delivers, for a phone in this price segment it is fairly loud.
• The rear speaker is fairly good and the overall audio quality is quite impressive and I like the way it sounds both from the loudspeakers and the 3.5mm audio port.
• Camera performance: it comes with 16MP+5MP shooters in the back and front and both the cameras provide satisfactory results. In outdoor and ample amount of light thye pictures come out to be excellent and in indoor the pictures are mostly good but there is slight problem. The front camera is also very good.
• It has support for two sims which accepts two 4G sims at a time. So you don’t really need to carry two phones to maintain two numbers but one thing you need to know is that at a time you can insert either two sims or a sim and a Micro SD Card. As the other slot is the hybrid one in which you can only insert sim or a memory card.
• The performance of the phone is blazing fast as it is using the vastly improved SnapDragon 650 which in itself is a beast. And this machine scores over 75000 in Antutu Benchmarks.
• The huge 4050mAh battery inside provides more than enough juice which helps the device to stay awakened for 2-3 days easily. And I need not to worry to charge it regularly. As this is also the main USP of the device.
• And the Fingerprint sensor just works flawlessly on this device.
CONS:
• Sunlight legibility is a bit weak. Don’t get me wrong its not bad but it is not upto mark under the bright sunlight in a place like Delhi.
• Hybrid Dual Sim Card slot.
• Non-Replacable Battery.
• Lack of Gorilla Glass.
• Takes a lot of time to charge the humongous 4050mAh battery.
