By today's experience that I had in the authorized customer care center of MI, I am definitely sure that this is the last product that I ever bought from MI.

I bought this phone exactly 2 months back in the end of November from Amazon, since then I have been facing issues with this phone. It is way to slow, lags a lot, camera takes days to just open, it cannot even handle simple things like calculator and phone application in the background, most of those applications get stopped or if not then they will take a long time to show what you were doing on that application. But these are just few of the issues with this phone, there are many more.

I have bought many Mi phones in past, but I won't recommend buying this company's product anymore and specially this phone Note 12 5G, this is the worst model a person can buy with his/her hard-earned money.

Major problem that I faced was that, whenever I changed my phone settings from Wi-Fi to Internet or as soon as I moved away from WiFi, my phone should automatically change from WiFi and start utilizing mobile data, but instead it stopped, and I had to manually change Preferred Network type from 5G to VoLTE and then again to 5G, just to start utilizing mobile data, whenever I moved away from WiFi.

Second problem was that numerous times when people tried contacting me, they used to get the message that the number you are trying to contact is either switched off or out of network coverage.

Third Problem was that whenever I tried sharing live location it got stuck at the same place and it rarely got refreshed.

Because of all of these problems, I raised a request through Mi chat, where they suggested me to visit nearest customer care center, they also booked the date and time slot for me.

I visited the customer care center yesterday, where I informed all the issues I had been facing and they just told me that they might have to upload a new software on my phone(just to remind this is a less than 2 months old phone) and it would hardly take 15 - 20 mins. These 15 to 20 mins soon got changed to 1 hour and then 2 hour and so I had to wait over there for more than 4 hours.

In the time span of 4 hours, I asked them multiple times that what was taking them so long & how long will it take to upload a simple software on my phone. After multiple requests they later informed me that they have already dismantled/opened my phone, for which they never took permission from me, later when I questioned them about it they told me it's a standard procedure and we have to follow it. Whereas they should have taken a proper acknowledgement from me. Around 8 to 8:30 PM IST they returned me my phone and they had already switched off all of the lights in the service center and were in a hurry to close the center, because of which I was not able to check my phone over there.

After coming back to my place I observed multiple scratches on the back panel and improper packing of my phone, still there are visible gaps in the back panel of my phone.

Today again I visited the service center(M2K Rohini, Delhi), they saw that they have made a mistake and instead of providing me a solution they started ignoring me and later when I forced them to help me out, they denied helping completely and said that this does not get covered under warranty and it is not their fault.

Now the main thing is that I bought a brand new phone, paid the full price to the company, then why did this software problem arise in the first place, it should have been checked before packaging of the phone, and if customer care center representatives are going to open or do anything to your phone they should take proper acknowledgement, which they never did in this case( if they would have informed me that my phone was going to be dismantled just to update a software, I would have denied cause I know that the packaging and water proofing of my phone will never be the same if opened).

Why should I use a phone which has been opened/dismantled and is having scratches on its back despite of paying full price of that phone.

PLEASE DON'T BUY NOTE 12 5G (I am writing it in full caps cause I just want to yell and save you guys from making the mistake that I did)

Really disappointed by Xiaomi.
