It’s good to see that Xiaomi always do their phones pricing right. And they are doing this consistently. Redmi 3s Prime is a power packed feature phone, with metal body, 13-mega pixel camera, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The metal body is curved and its compact size easily fits well in the hand. But its metal body makes this phone quite slippery, if you don’t use phone.
No doubt, the Redmi 3s Prime is one of the best smartphones under Rs. 10, 000. At Rs 8, 999 they are offering:
Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor,
3GB RAM,
A5 inch 720p display,
32GB internal storage,
FingerPrint Sensor
Powerful 4100mAh battery
A camera of 13-mega pixel and 5-mega pixel cameras, etc.
The rear 13-mega pixel camera is ok. Rear camera will give you some harsh photos in low light conditions. The front facing 5-mega pixel camera again gives you harsh results under most lighting conditions. The 5-inch 720p display is fabulous. But, it doesn't come with any significant screen protection. So it will be a good idea to get a tempered glass or a screen protector on the phone screen.
Performance wise, Redmi 3s Prime with the upgraded 3GB of RAM, gives you desirable performance. You will not face any lags while multitasking on this phone. Neither, you will notice any heat up issue while doing any task nor even at the time of charging. And this is a good phone for casual gaming.
But this phone has a crazy battery backup of 4100mAh. Xiaomi said that the phone can last for two days on a single charge. The Redmi 3s Prime, manages to provide a battery in a phone that easily fits in the hand of a user.
Overall, despite of some disadvantages like no screen protector and a weak camera. It is still a beautiful device, with huge battery backup and it is well-priced at Rs 8999/- that would fit most needs.
