I am using the Xiaomi Mi 4i since January 2015, it was a wonderful product when I bought it
16GB internal support and 2GB RAM, 13MP back camera, with the slim body it was wonderful and beautiful to look at.
Problem started after the warranty expired, the phone started hanging and as I was a regular user of the phone it made me reboot time to time to get faster access to websites and apps. I went to the service center situated at Kamla Nagar in North Delhi and was surprised to hear that they cannot update the same because they do not have any system to do so and asked me to wait until I get an alert to do so. I had to wait atleast for a week to get an alert and finally it started functioning smoothly.
The touch screen broke and I took it to the service center again and they said that it is not available in the stock and may take 3-4 weeks, and I have to deposit my phone with them then they can place a request to get the touch screen. I did not do that because my entire work depends on my phone. I took to the grey market and got the touch screen changed.
Yesterday(13.12.2017) my phone suddenly stop receiving network and today I took the phone to the service center in Kamla Nagar, and to my surprise first they said that this phone is outdated and they cannot do anything. I need to reach out to the toll free number and speak to them, if the issue does not get resolved they will issue me a voucher for INR 500 and I can redeem it against any of their new product that I would buy " Buying another Mi phone, never in my life"
The I approached another service center " Durga Communication" 48 Mall Road, Kingsway Camp, GTB Nagar, Delhi 9(011-49537198), they charged me INR 118(Invoice # 862, date 14.12.2017) and said that I need to update the new version. I told them that I already did this, now they said that there is the problem in the mother board and that need to be changed, cost is INR 8000 approx. plus taxes. WOW, who is going to pay such a huge price
There were many customers who were not satisfied with the services or the product.
DO NOT BUY ANY XIAOMI PRODUCTS, THE QUALITY IS NOT GOOD AND THE SERVICE IS PATHETIC
