For a magazine that is only about 50 pages long, Woman's World is filled from cover to cover with information. It is definitely a magazine created for the everyday woman, with most of the articles coming from women just like you and me.
It's a magazine for Inspirational Stories. It highlights the good deeds of others and the impacts such actions had on the lives of real people. Some of the articles make me laugh out loud, while others cause the tears to well up in my eyes. Each issue has heartwarming stories of people overcoming impossible odds to survive an accident, disease, or emergency. The strength and courage of these people have given me strength in facing my own personal obstacles.
It's a magazine made to make you smile. Colorful cartoons and jokes scatter across the pages. ''Was my Face Red'' is a short story of the most embarrasing situations, which are especially funny because, thankfully, they didn't happen to us!
It's a magazine meant to educate. The ''Good Health'' section has information on prescription medicines, medical breakthroughs, diets, exercise, nutrition, and children's health information. It covers not just the physical aspects of good health, but the emotional as well.
In addition to the above, it provides you with financial information such as investing, cutting down your bills, and steps to help you save money in everyday facets of life.
Unlike magazines like Cosmo, the Beauty and Fashion sections of Woman's World don't just cater to women who are a size 4 and can afford to spend astronomical amounts of money on their wardrobes. The tips and styles are geared to women of all sizes, body types, and clothing budgets. The clothes features are affordable and trendy. The make up articles don't just tell you what to buy, but how to apply it to make the most of your natural beauty.
Although each issue is different, certain sections are in each issue, such as:
Fashion and Beauty
Real-life Stories
Celebrities
Home and Family
Your Good Health
Food and Nutrition
Expert Advice
Romantic Short Story
Personality Quiz
Mini Mystery (my favorite!)
Horoscopes
Crossword Puzzle
Editorial Page

Last Laugh
For you women authors out there, Woman's World pays from $50 to $250 for your accepted submissions, depending upon the category in which they are published.
For a such a small magazine, Woman's World provides a large wealth of information, entertainment, and helpful information
