I just read your review on Wills Sport range of garments.
The first time I went to this store, was in January this year in New Delhi at Connaught Place.
Yes,like you, I was also taken-in by the ambience of the
store.
The store was big, well lit up, and there was ample space to move around.
The clothes were well displayed too.
They have just opened up in Calcutta on Theatre Road, and it has the same appeal to the stores.
Well, yes, the prices are surely on the higher side.
I fail to understand why are they keeping such high prices.
In one sentence, the garments are modern & chic !!!
The fabrics, well some of the fabrics are quite different
than the ones in the market.
I remember buying a jacket for my brother,in olive green colour, and a navy blue pullover for my dad.
Both,cost me something around Rs.5000/- in all.
Sorry,I don't remember the exact prices.
Hey, let me tell you that both these were damn cool stuff !!!!
The jacket looked quite cool on my brother, while the pullover, I remember,it was something called a cashmere stuff, though quite thin, provided excellent warmth.
Lovely, I was happy with my purchases, and with the
brand WILLS !!!!
I was checking out the shirts & trousers.
Nope,they didn't appeal to me, much.
Somewhat yes, but again not much.
The range of shirts were good, but I am not much into linens.
I prefer the pin point oxfords,button down.
The trousers were okay, nothing great though.
The prices were not attractive though, I didn't find a reason to pay so high prices for them.
Here, I must admit the trousers & shirts smart & attractive, but they did not justify the prices.
And yes,their varieties & styles are limited too.
The staff, well I have never seen such polite staff
in any Indian stores !!!!!!!!
The sales guy who was with me, was polite, giving his
opinions when asked for, mind you handling a fussy
customer like me is no joke !!!!!!
Yes,they do leave you all alone, without coming up to you
and standing on your head, without following you and donot
give you a stare or a cold look when you have checked out the all stuffs and you leave the store without buying anything !!!!!!
I don't remember the name of that sales guy in New Delhi store,but I was really impressed with him.
While leaving I did tell him, that he will go miles !!
The women's clothes seemed to be doing good business too,
since I saw lot of them being sold.
In the end, I think WILLS should make their prices
a little more comfortable and increase their range.
