Gareth Gates - UK's new pop sensation, has a dramatic way of turning fantasy into delightful songs. Gates' music is easy to relate to, easy on the ears and, more importantly, lyrically soothing. Gates, who has also sang solo for the Queen, is an accomplished pianist and songwriter, and plays classical guitar, electric and accoustic guitar and drums. His stammering took a back seat when he learnt that though he could not express himself clearly through speech, he could do without it and, instead, sing well. But for this 18 year-old, who still has to shed his teenybopper image, he strives to put forth a rather old image. He has gone through a lot of hard work to put these songs together. He is an extremely talented singer who is able to radiate sense and sensuality at the same time.

Gates relies heavily on his lyrics, which are sensual, his gruffy voice lends a very sensual appeal to all his songs.
The other songs to watch out for are the slow and easy ''Sentimental,'' ''Too Serious Too Soon,'' ''With You All The Time,'' ''Tell Me One More Time'' and the slightly echoey ''One And Ever Love,'' which all boast of good guitars, piano and commanding https://lyrics.
