I downloaded the WeatherBug a couple months ago when it was referred to me by a friend. I love it and use it often. You download a short program onto your computer and you have the local weather at your fingertips all the time.
The WeatherBug will put a mini icon in the lower right hand side of your screen that shows the current temperature at all times. If you want to see what the forecast is you just double click on the temperature and it opens a screen with the forecast. You can also see an InstaCam, Travel WX ( check the weather in other cities, radar, and they have a section with 'cool links'. There is also a section for alerts in which you can see if there are any weather watches or warnings for your area. If there are any watches or warnings the WeatherBug will chirp a few times and the icon with the temp will flash until you click on it to read what the warning is.
This program is very easy to use and does not pop up with unwanted ads. You can also just close the program if you don't want it open for any reason.
Since I don't get to watch the weather regularly this program has helped me a lot. I love it and recommend it to anyone and everyone.
