I have a QWERTY Smartphone(Nokia E63) and I have no serious issues with it for sending SMS. But, typing on this pad is little clumsy as compared to typing on a computer Key pad. Also, now a days ALL mobile operators have increased the SMS tariff by minimum 50%.

I was searching for an alternate.

Searched our very own MS and found this site to be recommended by 100% users with a four star rating.

The First Day

I typed https://way2sms. It took one minute time to load, but I found an alternate link, and clicked. Immediately an advertisement popped up. I closed it immediately. I found the link for Registering for new user. I just needed to fill Name, D.O.B., E mail and mobile no. I was immediately sent one time password on my registered mobile.

My First Log in.

Pleasant indeed. I was logged on with the given password easily and got prompted for changing the password.

User Interface

Very very handy and easy to use. You have link for `Send SMS` `Group SMS` `Sent SMS` `Address Book` `Future SMS` `Mail Alerts` and `Dashboard`.

My first requirement was to make an Address book to send many sms easily.

It was a breezeas I had option of adding Multiple contacts in one go. Not only that, I even had a chance to add Group and put the new contact in that only.

In some one hour of time I had a complete Address book.

But, suddenly, I was apprehensive of the safety of my phone book. But, I had a solution for this also. I got a link, using which, I got all the phone book in an Excel sheet, which I saved for my record on my computer hard disc.

Group SMS

Very useful to send hundreds of sms in one click. You have different catagories made earlier, which could be made to send sms Group wise.

Mobile No Locator

You have a link with a Blank space. Put any mobile no and you will get information for Operator and Location. I found it to know the details of some unknown missed calls nos.

Other Facillities

This site also has facilities to send E Cards, Free Mail Alerts, Chat with your GTalk,Yahoo and FB friends simultaneously while sending SMSes or mailing, Chat with your GTalk,Yahoo and FB friends simultaneously while sending SMSes or mailing. Though, I have NOT tried these mentioned featured. Have fun trying for yourself.

Neccessary Evils

1. The SMSs at the recipient end will be shown as TD67567 like thing, but the first line will contain your Mobile No( wastage of sms character of 160, reduced to 140 only)

   
   




2. It can not send Group SMS to DND registered Nos, though you can send messages one by one to them all.

   
   

But, these evils has beed IMPOSED by TRAI to ALL such sites.
