Aki treading n setting standards for others!. Review on Waqt - A Race Against Time

Reportedly AKI was offered RS 8 crore to appear in an advertisement wearing just the sando vest and he turned the offer down. Ok probably the banyan adds already have used the machos-- salman/ sunny/ mamik etc. Now sallu "jazbat ho under to dikta hai bahar"n sunny deol "yeh under ki baat hai needs to have a lesson or two from him" and so do we as to how an actor like him who is barely getting 1.5 crore per movie can turn down an offer like that? But still the news is good.

In addition recently he has also lent his voice for a song titled "nirguna laakh liya" for the Mumbai victims.It seems he has set his foot on the noble path line? Is it the phir hera pheri effect? The Oath that they take not to be bad and always good?

Or is he afraid of the rat race and the star war?we watch Amitabh Bacchan in every other ad, then SRK follows the same league too. Then we have kareena-boro plus/ shahid-clean n claer/ sunny-sona chandi chawanprash n lux cozi / Amir--titan n coke/ hrithik --rasna n coke/ salaman--lux cozi/ aftab-- some chappal/ vivek --dant manjan/ aishwarya --revlon n nakshatra/ priyanka-pepsi tv /saif --colgate gel n aveo/ rani -- aveo, dabur vatika n nakshatra/ kajol+ajay--whirlpool n asmi n tata/ ria sen sprite n vatika / katrina veet n dyna soap / bips n john -- head n shoulders/ preity too-- pink panther n head n shoulders, perk n latest the mallika sherawat curvy 7up n many more in the line...........

I wonder when I look at the price that they get from the movies and besided they need to do the adds. WHY? just the money factor or something else? What about the under ground connection? Everyone came to know about that stuff post the Bharat Shah case. Plus the cassettes of the Dawood's parties wherein we saw so many renowned actors of our industry performing like stage show monkeys.

For small stars these advertisemnt are the added ways to earn the money but for the reputed established actors we can hardly get a convincing explanation. By the way AKI has definitely set a standard this time and we appreciate him for this.

Is the sports section istening to this too? any ears?

Can they follow the AKI trend too? Instead of the limelight practise they should be eager for the under light practise too.
