Hello friends once again I am back at my favourite website to pen down some important reviews which I think will lead us into the 2012 & I hope the world dosen't END.The title of this particular review is very interesting.We are all aware of the fact that there is lot of hoo-halla about wal*mart comming to indian shores but its been there in india from past 4 years.Sadly,it is in the format of wholesale cash & carry store & is only accessable to those who have a valid VAT number.
So,I decided to give you all a brief introduction about the big daddy of retail-WAL*MART.

STORE TIMINGS:-8:00 AM TO 8:00 PM
CATEGORIES OF PRODUCTS AVALIABLE:-
HOUSEHOLD ITEMS,FURNITURE,VEGETABLES,GROCERIES,MEAT,EGGS,FROZEN FOOD,CONFECTIONARY,ENGINE OIL,GARMENTS,BISCUITS,ELECTRONIC & HOME APPLIANCES,COSMETICS,SPICES,DRY FRUITS,SWEETS,CIGARETTES (ALCOHOL NOT AVALIABLE).
Well thats y I decided to title my review as shopping tart (baked dish consisting of a filling over a pastry base)

Ambience:- The store is very well laod out & lit up with natural as well as CFL lights. The shopping allys are wide and 2 to 3 shopping carts can criss cross each other.Furthur,there is centrally air conditioning avaliable coz of the hot Indian summers where temp can well reach over 40 degrees.Shopping has to be in the most comfortable temp which soothes human body and mind.
Customer Service:- It is at par with the global standards.Each billing counter has a well trained billing executive who tells you about the product as well as scans the bar code info onto the computer.Each section of the store has an executive which helps you make an apporpriate choice about the product customer is looking for.They have hand held bar code scanners which tells the stock presently avaliable in the inventory along with the latest prices & batch,date of manufacturing.
Food Outlet:-One goes to the shopping and always makes a point to have something to munch upon,so walmart ppl have also taken care of this too.It has CCD outlet within the store which serves coffee along with snacks which are in their regular menu.
ATM:-The store has an ICICI bank ATM from where one can withdraw cash if he or she is short of money.The minimum billing amount is 1000 INR.Although they now have started accepting debit/credit cards too.
Transport:-If one has purchased items in well over the carrying capacity of their vehicle then they can opt for the home delivery of the goods,which is avaliable at a nominal cost and is borne by the customer.
USP (Unique Selling Proposition):- As it is known in the marketing language of MBAs.One gets a global experience of shopping at WALMART.From fresh fruits & veggies to laptops n mobiles it has everything.
One dosen't need to roam around from pole to pole & justling with shoulder to shoulder in narrow streets of old markets of ludhiana to get the best quality at best price when one has BIG DADDY OF RETAILS next door serving you the best from around the globe.
Verdict:- Walmart is here to stay & move over you desi kiryana stores its now high time that your maximum profit by maximum adultration policy is bound to fail in near future.Kudos !!!
