Noisy compressor operation. Review on Voltas Vertis Gold

I purchased Voltas vertis gold seeing its features on VOLTAS website and I recevied the gold model at Bhopal after lot of persuation with the regional voltas office as it was not avilable with any of the dealers at bhopal due to its higher cost in comparision with other models.

But I found that whenever the compressor cuts off as result of temperature setting it makes a heavy sound when complaint made to the dealer ,he sent technician who told that this is the normal noise of rotary type compressor.The sound is very annoying and causes irritation.I have plan to pursue the matter with the Voltas company.But if it is the normal sound I will not recommend anybody to purchase it.

Although,the good thing about the A/C is that the remote control and local control panel has very nice controls.I will have to check whether rotary comopressor makes this type of sound during switching ON and OFF, athough during normal running operation the compressor sound is quite tolerable.
