I read a lot about slimming centres, their treatments, how they con people, lure them and extort money.
I am a Nutritionist and hence thought I shall write a review on how people can actually manage weight on their own.
First things First, There is no short cut to loose weight, You have to slugg it out and burn that extra flab that you have gained over a period.
Secondly, you gained that extra weight over a period of time and you cant burn it all up overnight. So have patience and lose that extra weight over a period of time. Dont take up crash diets, because whatever u lose you will definitely gain back
Make Exercising a daily part of your routine. It is as important as eating, watching TV or talking.
Early morning, Start with a strenuous activity viz jogging, cycling, brisk walking, swimming, Aerobics, Kick Boxing, climbing stairs, sit ups, yoga etc
Have a heavy breakfast. Eat Carbohydrate and Protein rich Breakfast. Have cereals, chapati, roti, oats, milk to your hearts content. make sure you atleast have one fruit in the morning( DO NOT SKIP BREAKFAST)
Have a moderate Lunch. Just eat how much you want or a little lesser. Have a vegetable salad. Drink Butter milk(Makes you feel full)
Dinner should be very light. Just One Chapati and Dal, some salad and a fruit. Keep a gap of 2 hrs between your dinner and bed time. Go for a short walk after dinner. Sleep early so that you dont miss on your morning exercise.
Avoid Fried food, fast food, Potato, Dairy products until you have achieved your target. After you have achieved your target, you can start eating all these in moderation.
I found a website which is very useful in planning the diet and activity. best part is, we can do it on our own terms. All the calorific values of food that we eat are given, and based on our height and weight it tells us how much calories is required for us. try it out... https://lifemojo.com/
