Story:

It was way back during my college days that I first made my acquaintance with Dirk Pitt, the larger-than-life protagonist of Clive Clussler's novels. At that time, recently weaned off the Hardy Boys ;-), I thought they were great; wild adventures across the World, sexy cars and sexier women, what more can an adolescent boy want! ;-)

Then, a few months ago, I happened to be browsing at a local second-hand bookstore, when I laid my eyes on a copy of ''Vixen 03''. Nostalgia presented me a fond memory of the books, as it often does with old memories. 5 minutes and 60 bucks later, I took home the Clive Clussler.

All of CC's books have a common theme - a wild treasure/ secret/ technology/ hunt, usually across a few continents, with Dirk Pitt and his friends from NUMA (an oceanographic organization) triumphing against endless dangers, each one more 'unsurvivable' than the last... Vixen 03 is no different.

The basic plot is that way back during the Second World War, a plane is lost. It's what is in the plane that provides the 'masala' - a deadly weapon of mass destruction. Our heroes unravel a zillion clues, encounter a billion enemies and survive a million near-fatal situations!!

Fact and logic are pushed to the edge of the envelope is this book... it's strictly a ''shut-brains-simply-enjoy'' read. Under those conditions, it's a pretty entertaining story that will leave you without any permanent brain damage.

I hope.
