I was watching Aaj Tak- News channel on Wednesday (25th Oct) & suddenly I was shocked – below ticker was blinking as News Flash- “SHAHID KA VIVAH”. I was desperate to watch the news, what was the real news behind that? That particular news came after several breaks, but I was stick to that channel. The promos I have seen it’s a AMRITA RAO & SHAHID KAPOOR latest film directed by famous family movie director Sooraj R Barjatyaunder RAJSHRI PRODUCTIONbanner. This filmmaker who breathed new life into Indian cinema at a time when people forget love for cinema with such big hits like “Maine Pyar Kiya”, “Hum Aapke Hain Koun” and “Hum Saath Saath Hain”. He is known much for his melodious family films as for his quality but something wrong with his last film “Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon”-the story was not so strong as simple love triangle & theme was that Kareena Kapoor would love Hrithik Roshan & engaged in end with Abhishek ??? Now “VIVAH”includes major cast role as family requires lot of character Shahid Kapur, Amrita Rao, Anupam Kher, Alok Nath, Seema Biswas etc.. The main theme of this movie is “A journey from engagement to marriage”. He has tried some flavour of “HUM AAPKE HAIN KAUN”
In Vivah, he intends to look at the sanctity of marital bonding & look at the man-woman relationship with some detachment.Vivah isn't about the festivities and celebrations connected with a marriage. It's about the definitions and dynamics of a marriage. Once that engagement ring is exchanged, you suddenly become so important to someone else. He feels today's youngsters are losing touch with the beauty and relevance of such a relationship. His film starts with engagement and ends with marriage. The film is only about the gradual growth in the couple's relationship. He was very impressed by Shahid and Amrita’s performances in their earlier films “36 China Town” & “Main Huo Na”., but appreciation from the audience is very important. Why SOORAJ had selected these youngsters?? Because this movie is all about youngsters & he feels they are the one but not Kareena this time- due to her glamorous & chocolate image she was not able to play sober family role…as she played in song of Main Huo Na…TUmse mill dey ka haal…in salwar- suit one.
Guys ready to watch VIVAH on 10th Nov-06 again its good to watch with family so that mom- dad will also seen the pure family entertainment with you & specially for love birds ( this line)-after watching this movie your parents will say YES to marry with your partner.
