Viswasam is a movie that could be better.
Viswasam stars Ajith, Nayanthara and Anikha, Yogi Babu, Vivek, Robo Shankar. The director of the movie is Siva.
Viswasam's story has a city girl falling in love with a man, Thookudurai, who lives in the village. The villian is also a cliche; a businessman who wants to eliminate his enemy and has no shame to kill a young girl to achieve his goal. The film feels like it is dragging and is not able to do a good job, but it does have certain good elements that focuses on the father-daughter bond and how Thookudurai works to win back his family.
The screenplay of Viswasam is shabbily done as the dialougues dont excite you and even the action scenes are not fun to watch. The female protagonist of the film has a strong persoanlity and could have been written a character who works her way through all the drama and creates a life that she wants, but instead she is shown as someone who gets pulled back into melodrama. Even the jokes are not witty and will not make you laugh.
Viswamam is a movie that you should watch only for the good performaces of the actors and to remind you of the importance of family and the loving and unbreakable bond that exists between father and daughter.
