Feel compelled to share my experience with Vishwaraj Hospital, which has changed significantly over the years. While the hospital provided good treatment a few years ago, my recent encounters have raised several concerns.
Previous Experiences
Three years ago, my father was admitted to Vishwaraj Hospital and received excellent care. However, during his admission in 2022, we faced numerous issues that were quite troubling. The quality of treatment and patient management seemed to have deteriorated. We encountered multiple doctors, each providing conflicting information without any clarity. This lack of communication created confusion and frustration.
High Bills and Poor Justification
Another major concern was the exorbitant bills. After my father's seven-day stay, the total bill amounted to ₹1, 72, 000, of which only ₹92, 000 was sanctioned by the TPA. This meant that we were left to cover a significant portion of the expenses ourselves. The TPA's explanation that the hospital charged excessively when not necessary was unacceptable. This led to substantial financial loss on our part.
When I approached the billing department for clarification, I was met with rudeness. The billing staff suggested that if we couldn’t afford the expenses, we shouldn’t have admitted him at all. This attitude was shocking, especially given the circumstances under which we had to admit my father.

While the nursing staff at Vishwaraj Hospital is commendable and dedicated, and there are specialists available even at odd hours, I would caution anyone considering admission here. If you require outpatient consultations, the hospital may be suitable; however, I would advise against choosing it for admissions or surgeries.
If you are advised to admit a patient at Vishwaraj Hospital, I recommend thinking carefully. It is essential to consider whether it is truly necessary, especially given the high costs and inconsistent care.
