City Pride(Satara Road) is the oldest Multiplex in Pune. Now there are two City Pride multiplexes in Pune - First they started on Satara Road, (Market Yard) sometime in 2001. Second one is at Kothrud. Same management has one more and name is Mangla.
The one at Satara Road is very near to my place and this review is on that. Not a great place to watch your fab movie however not a bad place too if you look at the price tag of tickets and availability. Ticket is costing less than that of INOX. So very naturally one can see lot of school / collage going kids in the morning shows. It’s a convenient place for the people living in this part of the city.

Like any organization they too have pros and cons in their operations which are listed below.
PROS-
Cost of ticket
Near to Swargate bus stand on the Satara road
Only one in the vicinity of Market yard, Bivwewadi, Swargate
Timely screening of latest movies
Availability of some good quality eatables at a reasonable price for time pass
Lift for senior citizen / handicaps
Two classes – GOLD and SILVER
Reasonably safe place at night because of its location
After the movie one may do some shopping of essential items. Big-bazaar is about a kilometer on the same road.

Adequate parking place
Availability of transport even at night
A gaming zone at the ground floor. Not a gamer so can not write much about that place.
CONS-
Illumination is very poor inside the auditorium. Carry a small torch otherwise there is every possibility to fall because of its few narrow steps. Very dark inside may be by design to hide dirt. I really do not know why they donor switch on one powerful light at the beginning of the show for the benefit of the people. Crazy management.
Poor house keeping inside the auditorium. Sometime one can find leftovers of previous show.
Very short interval. Sometime buying a cup of tea is not possible.
I have never seen morning show starting at the right time… always late
Entrance of all four auditoriums are at the same floor making it very congested at times. In adequate seating outside auditorium like all other multiplexes I have visited.
