I had 2 years of experience with this school and actually the problem is not in school, problem lies in the mentality of the management and they are like copy cat peoples.
Recently, the Administrator left the school, so many Mentors left the school and in last 2 sessions, in between the sessions, the Chemistry Teacher left the school 2 times and Physics Teacher left the school 3 times and it was very hard to cover the syllabus in fact. You can imagine if 2 of your teachers left the school 2 times in between the Board Syllabus, then how good could be the studies and how qualified management is.
For getting the admissions of your daughter, they will show you something like heaven pictures during your first 1-2 visits and you can even visit to the room of your daughter, but you can be sure that it will be last time you are going inside the hostel rooms and ground realities begins once your child enrolls in the school.
They even don't have basic hot water tabs in washrooms, you have to carry the hot water from common area to the bathrooms so this is the type of real facility.
Parents could not meet or talk with their wards in between when they want except of weekly calls, because HM's and Mentors don't pick the phones and even if they pick they did not allow to talk so easily. So you will lost the control over your own kid after getting enrolled here.
For example, after 3 months of separation with your wards, you came to take them with you and on that day normally some kind of special functions and/or PTM they kept and they forcefully did not allow your ward to meet you or to have lunch with you till the start of PTM, you even could not meet your wards during the ongoing function irrespective of the reality whether your ward is a part of the function or not. Means being a parent someone waited 3 months just to see their daughter and while coming to school at 08:30 in morning you have to wait till 01:00 noon just to see the face of your daughter, just kind of tedious rules and regulations they follow.
In case of emergency no talk is possible with kids as either HM will not pick the call or ask you so many questions to decide whether to call your ward to talk or not and then on speaker phone they allow for 5 minutes in real emergencies. This is somewhat a kind of hostage feeling for students.
No special attention is given to weak students irrespective of the false promises they made during the admission to the parents.
No personal attention or a kind of support or love is given to the students, irrespective of what they said or write at website.
Complete top level management is a mess.
The rules are so strict that your daughter can't enter in to the school with even a single piece of chocolate and if they found the same the same will be seized.
We all understands there should be rules to keep the children in order and to teach them discipline, but rules are made for humans, humans are not made for rules.
In case of some individual episodes, somewhere some kind of rules should be exception depending upon circumstances or nature of child.
What rubbish it feels when the mom and dad are inside schools at 8 morning but you were not allowed to meet them till PTM at 0100 Noon, because of the rules, there is no feeling in their hearts and sometimes your daughters are even not allowed to come out of hostel on that days, so that she could not meet you before given time. In such days, the kids are given different menu of foods, while parents served outside catered foods to show off and they can't have lunch together with their daughters even at 0100 Noon, as students are not permitted to eat with parents under any circumstances.
There are so many such basic issues, their hotel buildings are too old, their mess is too old and new one is under going construction for 4 years now. The HM or other care take staff at top most level is inexperienced and they just kept on shouting.
The Top level management is so poor, except for some deans.
The teachers are often leave the school in ongoing sessions, it means school did not hire them with proper formalities or locked in periods to save students from this mess up. So it is a good example of how the management is.
They take around 17000 Rs for IT Charges and they did not allow kids to enter the IT labs and the students who use the personal laptops or those who don't have the personal lappy, both have to pay the same fee and using the student wifi, even wikipedia or gmail is not opening. The Classrooms interactive boards are without wifi or internet and there is no usage of such good infrastructure as they don't know how to handle the same efficiently.
If student want to learn something from youtube videos as teachers are not there for proper guidance, then student can't even do so as youtube is not running there.
These all are example of the good management of the school.
In my view, don't put life of your lovable daughters at risks by putting them at VDJS.
