Have been using numerous kinds of toothpastes/soaps from multitudes of companies in my 3-4 decades of life. I have also done extensive research regarding the chemicals used in toothpastes, bathing soaps etc., and read many books on this topic. Have tried and tested many ‘so-called’, self-proclaimed Ayurvedic products also. After all this thorough research, I came to the conclusion that Vicco is one of those rare companies whose products are genuinely ‘Ayurvedic’ from inside out, and there is not a single ingredient which is not supposed to be present in an Ayurvedic product.
Vicco is an Indian company which has been around for many decades, and I have been using its products on and off since my early childhood. It has Vicco Vajradanti toothpaste, shaving cream/foam, Vicco Turmeric Ayurvedic cream, pain reliever and many other useful and interesting products. I highly recommend Vicco and its products because they’re genuinely Ayurvedic products and not ‘pseudo-Ayurvedic’ or ‘semi-Ayurvedic’. There are some ‘other’ toothpastes which claim to be Ayurvedic, but still contain chemicals like ‘fluorides’ etc. How can we call such products Ayurvedic? And what are fluorides doing in an Ayurvedic toothpaste?
I would strongly advise people to be vigilant while buying any kind of product whether it is soap or toothpaste or any other thing - first read and check the ingredients! For instance, while buying a toothpaste, first check that it does not contain any fluorides’. And while purchasing any bathing soap or shampoo, first ensure that it does not contain ‘sodium lauryl sulphate’ or ‘sodium luareth sulphate’; or any ‘lauryl’ or ‘laureth’ chemical compound for that matter. All these chemicals are harmful for our health.
Also don’t use price as a criteria while purchasing your soap or shampoo or toothpaste or shaving foam. Go for products that those don’t contain above harmful chemicals, even if they may cost more. For example, Vicco toothpaste may cost a little bit more than some ‘other’ toothpaste, but I would still strongly recommend it because it is a good, genuine Ayurvedic product! And the price difference anyway is anyway relatively small. Quality-wise, a genuine Ayurvedic product can never be compared to a ‘chemical’ product! Period.
This review is under the heading of ‘Vicco toothpaste’, but actually it is a review of Vicco as a company and all its products - toothpaste, tooth powder, shaving cream, skin cream etc. etc. I strongly recommend all of Vicco products! Why use other companies' products, when we are fortunate enough that we have a good company like Vicco in our country and we can buy and easily afford its products! I feel very lucky and grateful that we have this great, noble, ancient science of Ayurveda, and genuine, honest companies like Vicco. We should all be proud of these things and enjoy the extremely positive benefits of such products.
Thats why I say- use only Vicco; baki sab kuchch feko! Jay Hind! Jay Vicco!
