Zooming speed. Review on Verizon Communications

After going through various internet service provider fliers I finally decided to go for Verizon internet service. I got a great deal from Verizon which included free installation and free registration with a one time nominal charge for the wireless router. Moreover, I got 2 months free internet service since I ordered during the promotional period.

The best thing about their internet service is that I do not require a verizon telephone connection in order to use the internet. They provide a separate dedicated line for the internet service. The technician who came to set up the connection was very polite and helpful. I was not charged a single penny for installation.

I have been using their service for over 6 months and have had a good experience till now. In the last six months I have experienced a down time of less than 10 minutes!! The speed has been consistent and seamless.

The wireless router provided by Verizon has the capacity to allow 4 wireless connections and 4 wired connections at a given time. The only problem I faced was related to speed when I connected 4 laptops simultaneously.

Verizon requires its DSL customers to sign a contract of 2 years of service for taking benefit of the competitive rate they offer. I think its a great way to retain customers. The drawback of this contract for those customers who are dissatisfied with the service is that they have to pay a big penalty for breaking the contract.

Overall it a great internet service provider. I recommend Verizon high speed internet service to those who are looking for a quality ISP with minimum down time.
