Venus Williams is just an amazing tennis player. she started off in a poor area in America, and has worked for everything she has got. She deserves it.
Her style of tennis is a joy to watch, as her opponents hellplessly try and get another ball over the net. Her run of 22 matches I think it was over the summer was amazing, and it took a great player of Lindsay Davenport to bring it to an end. she also plays doubles which is good for the game, and she beats Martina Hingis regualrly which says something about her.
She could go on to become one of the greatest players ever........or she could go to college. I sincerely hope she takes the former option although I am sure her competitors hope she takes the latter.
