Recently had a HORRIBLE Vacations to Greece / Turkey with them ( my previous 5 international tours were with Kesari since dates didn't suit us we opted for VW for the first & surely for the last time)
1) We paid Rs 42000/- per couple per day ( tour cost if calculated), but facilities we got were not more than worth rs 12500-15000/per day.
2) Their itinerary is attractive, but as actual its the worst compared to other travel companies ( 4/11 days we were traveling with site seeing of just 1 1/2hrs on those days). 7 hrs each boring cruise on 2 whole days ONLY to visit 3 blue domes at Santorini just for 3 hrs. flight from Athens is 1hr. we wasted 3 days.
An additional day was wasted at Izmir, as flight to Istanbul was in the evening which could have been booked in the morning ( halt at Izmir had only one city clock tower, which presently is under repair so covered, site seeing from bus, which could have bn done even early morning on our way to airport)
3) Very very substandard 2 hotels .Santorini resort had just VW passengers.the hotel rooms had bathtub & double bed side by side( this was so called honeymoon suits.mngmnt was probably unaware that out of 37, about 30 were senior citizens above the age of 60) NO internet or at least a single drinking water bottle in the room.
Same was the case with hotel at Istanbul.hotel was good. But the road on which it was situated was famous for nightlife with pimps offering girls & sex shows, whole night there were sirens of police vans & quarrels.
4) Very poor organisation, mAnasultangement & coordination. On a certain day after traveling about 800 km in a bus, on reaching hotel at 10.15pm, we were told kitchen & dining is closed so No dinner would be served, senior citizens had already taken their diabetic drugs in the journey. Local guide or Veena World tour leaders shd have coordinated with the hotel while traveling.
(After some arguments with hotel mAnasultangement, soup, mix vegetable with bread was served at 1.00AM)
The mAnasultangement sitting in INDIA, did not had manners or courtesy to call up & apologize for this dinner fiasco.
Local guide at Cappadocia & Pamukkale was so arrogant that on asking questions about the country we were visiting, he threatened to leave our grp half way if we asked further questions.
Hot air ballooning which many of us wanted to experience(its one of the star attraction of Cappadocia) were told that booking has to be done 1 month or 15 days prior, whereas another group( from India, with other competitor co) who were there on the same day booked in the evening for next morning, this same local guide denied us this experience.
5) THIS TOUR COMPANY HAS MANY HIDDEN COSTS. WE WERE MADE TO aishwaryasingh23 GUIDED TOUR CHARGES OF 40 EURO/PP AT 3 ISLAND TOUR IN GREECE. IT WAS A WHOLE DAY CRUISE TOUR & VEENA WORLD WAS JUST GOING TO DROP US AT THESE 3 ISLANDS, TO EXPLORE THEM ON OUR OWN. ALSO, THERE IS 8 SEATER ELECTRIC VEHICLE TO TAKE YOU ACROSS COTTON CASTLE AT PAMUKKALE( TURKEY). THE AREA IS VAST & MANY THINGS TO SEE. THE VEHICLE CHARGES WERE BORN BY WE TOURISTS.
6) We had 2 ladies as tour mAnasultangers, who worked hard to the best of their capacity but probably due to their inexperience, got guffed up in crises situations.

Friends, till the whole amount was paid & our reservations were confirmed, we use to get calls from local Pune office as well as from Mumbai office of Veena World. Even regular SMS use to greet us. But once our cheques got cleared, it was all over. No one bothered to send a msg of apology after dinnerless night. We were asked to write feedback mails, most of us have done so to customer care of VEENA WORLD. But it's 5 days now, no one has even got the acknowledgment for the same, forget about explAnasultantion about poor mAnasultangement.
Friends, you may have some different experience, much better than ours, but I urge all of you to be very alert before booking any tour & specifically Greece/Turkey with VEENA WORLD. We hardly felt that we saw anything on 12 days tour of these 2 countries famous for Greco-roman history.
CARRY ADEQUATE CASH WITH YOU AS THERE ARE MANY HIDDEN COSTS WITH THIS COMPANY.
