Vaada- chicken do-pyaaza!. Review on Vaada

Okey, so you all must be wondering like what is this ?foody? connection with vaada, right? I mean first you had Sheetal?s review on Vaada, titled, ?vada-paao??and now,?this one! Kya chakkar hai? Even I don?t know, ?but, probably the fact that this movie is quite quick?(as compared to those never-ending tear jerker family dramas), and that is why it didn?t allow most of us, movie goers to actually finish off our popcorns?.and hence all of that dissatisfaction, that hunger has stayed in our minds, and that is why we are relating vaada to khaana?

THE COMPARISON:-

Hmmm?.so, the comparison of this movie with chicken-do-pyaaza is confusing you? Oho?don?t be confused?main hoon naah! See, chicken-do-pyaaza is a dish wherein the ?boring? chicken?is spiced up by adding lots and lots of pyaaz (onions)?.then, why do they call it do pyaaza (c?mon?I aint taking your cookery class okey?I?m only concerned with the food?and not its name?remember)?likewise, in this flick, there is one boring chicken?(oops?I mean chic)?Amisha-tamasha-Patel, ?.and?yeah?to spice up the story they have our two heros (or anti-heroes?.whatever?who cares?)?.

Anyway,?talking of amisha as chicken?.well, she seems to have taken the role to seriously, (ahhh?here I mean the role of a murgi?chicken)?what I mean is?her out-rageous, multicoulored, weird straked hair?can give competion to even the chicken with the most ?colourfullest? feathers?.waise?why only chicken,?.her streaks dekh kar toh ?more? bhi Sharma jayein?.naah amisha?yeah dil mange..?NO-MORE??of your streaks?

THE STORY:-

It?s the story of a young girl called POOJA (played by amisha), who meets a handsome, and caring guy RAHUL (arjun r

ampal)?and yeah?they fall in love?predictable??naah?cause all of this happens in one single song?(yeah!). anyway, now, in a road accident, Rahul loses his eye-sight and?zoom?comes KARAN (zayed khan)?in their life?who happens to be amisha?s ex?.this gives rise to some heavy duty drama?resulting in the ?murder? of one the three central characters?.and moves on with the two characters constantly accusing each other of the ?murder??.and in the end?after many flashbacks-cut 2 present-flashbacks-cut 2 present?..flashbacks?.the film reaches its ?twisted?, and ?kind of unpredictable? climax!?(okey, now what more do you want me to disclose?murder mystery, yaar! Go?catch the movie, lolls)?

THE PERFORMANCES:-

ARJUN RAMPAL:-as the caring, understanding hubby, in the first half, and his new ?action? wala?twisted avtaar?is pretty impressive. Although he falters at some places, (especially the emotional scenes)?but, he manages to make it all up with his smashing action sequences. He has looked fab?and acted well as well. You can call it his best performance till now?

AMISHA PATEL:- miss chicken..okey, I wont talk about her looks anymore, but then, what do I talk about, huh? I mean?she?s got a very minuscule role in the movie, which is almost like a guest appearance?(and, I ain?t complaining for that?he..ehe..hee). so, in her chota-sa role,?she is..she is?amm..okey?yeah, better than humraaz atleast?..that is the most I can say about her..

ZAYED KHAN:- if you thought that he?s only good for those happy-go-LUCKY (main hoon naa type roles)?well, think again. He?s actually quite good in this SRK-in darrish kinda role. He has improved his dialogue delivery, his overall acting skills?and that?s good for him., but, yaa, there?s one thing that is un-changed in him?and that is his ?awesome? looks?yeah?that stylish and hot image of him?is still the same?(happy naah?girls!_

MUSIC:-

This is the factor which is a complete let down. The music is below average to average. There isn?t even one of those ?hummable? songs?I mean?the title track, ?vadaa hai yeh??is okie?and the rest?well, all of them have that deja-vu feel, especially the ?wohh ladki? track?its sooo suna hua?yaar! And yeah?there?s one wannabe ?sufiana? track? it tries to get that kailash kher- nusrat fateh ali touch?but, falls flat. Then, there is this track ?chunari sexy?chehra sexy..??with lyrics as silly and crappy as these?need I say more,?and yeah ofcourse there is that ?all-in-one? track?the meeting-falling in love-and wedding one?so, all in all, ?.the music fails to keep up the vaada?

OVERALL:-

Phew!?overall, this is an interesting thriller! The pace of the film is perfect?.and although it won?t really keep you on the edge of your seats, but, you do feel satisfied after watching this flick. It?s a time-pass kinda affair with borrowed masaala from humraaz, darr?and yeah?.some parts of its back ground track?borrowed from dhoom?.it seemed?

Anyway, don?t go expecting too much, and you will come out satisfied?vaada?pakka vaada!
