I personally feel that Uttaran is one of the better child-oriented serials on TV today. I have enjoyed seeing the antics of the two girls since day 1, as well as the expert acting of all the adult characters who were and/or are working in the serial. I think the real black spot of the serial was the loss of the chance for Ammo and Ichha to win the 50 lakh lottery ...
However, that would have upset the ethos of the serial. Surprisingly, there is no return to that at all ... I was hoping that nani's chori would be caught and she would be immediately thrown out of the Thakur house.Well, at least the wayward son of the naani was, and that relieved Ichha and her mother a lot.The title of the review I am giving refers to the vamp-like actions of Tapasya ...
She actually managed to get Ichha be lost at the National Park at a school picnic, and also to hide this from Ammo and her own parents by giving the most ingenious and devious excuses. Is a nine-year old capable of doing all this? I doubt it. Very unlikely for her to keep inventing lies to hide her own act.I like the way the rest of the story shaped up till now, but it looks like if they are going to make Tapasya grow up into a vamp so fast, I may stop watching the serial. Thanks for reading this.
