I'm using upstox since last 6 months. I opened this account just because that it's a discount broker and they were charging very least brokerage for intraday. Delivery was also free so it's similar to zerodha. however, I found that upstox nest trader is not getting installed when I checked their website and download it the nest trader file from the website. when it was trying to install it on my system but it was not able to install it on my system. So when I checked with their customer service so even they were not able to help me out with this. so end of the day I had to trade with their website and even I was trying to trade with their mobile app. However I found their app and website was really good but still it was a new screen and new tool was there that's the reason I was facing a lot of issues. how were in past I was using nest trader and was very good software. so that's the reason I was trying to trade on their nest trader. second thing that on upstox, when I received the contract notes in the evening and when I saw that what kind of a deductions they do. I found that they were charging lot of incorrect tax break up. break ups which I was thinking that it is because I have another account with different brokers.
When I tried to calculate a simple trade on their website calculator, I found that the calculation which was made on the website and the calculation which was made on the contract was two different one. the charges were made more on the contract that's the reason I stopped using upstox as well now. when I checked with the customer service on this, they told me that the website is updated very long back and they will update it soon. I cannot believe that a company who is running on financial thing, they have something different on their website and what they are following in practical is different way. from that day, I have stopped using upstox. I'm using another different broker which I feel that they are giving me good margin as well as a good and proper calculation in the contract.
I suggest people to trade or open the account as per their understanding because it's all about deduction of the money from your profit.
