Hi, I wanted to tell you all about a great place for Borivali (East)-Dahisar (East) people.
It is a great place for families for weekend dinner/lunch outings. Very inexpensive too. The drinks are the cheapest in this area (if you see the quality of the restaurant). Also, the food is quite tasty.
The soups are their strong point. Go for the yummy hot and sour soup and the sweet corn chicken soup.
I always go for their Moghlai food though. The chinese is so-so. The desserts are also, just passable.
There is a children's play area outside (with electronic rides etc.) and this makes life better for us parents :)
One of the major strength of this place is that it is spacious (there is a lot of room between tables unlike other places like Silver coin and Kokanratna) and has a good ambience.
All in all, this is one of my favourites if I want a quick, cheap dinner outside, and if my husband does not want to drive very far.
The Uphaar restaurant (in Gokulanand hotel) is situated on the Western Express Highway between Borivali and Dahisar. Going from Borivali, it comes after the National Park flyover, on the right side. It is usually very well lit up and you cannot miss it.
