I think the internet is a wonderful way to put across your views and experiences to a wider audience. I never thought of myself as a writer, but circumstances made me put my thoughts to words. Today was my fifth visit to Univercell store in Koramangala.
It's at the corner of Sony Center signal. I had purchased a Nokia E71 from them about 3 months back and that time the receiving email feature was not working. The sales rep said that I need to install a software in order to receive the emails. However due to a power shortage, they were unable to send the software file to my phone via bluetooth.
This happened for three visits to the store. Then I stopped going. Recently I thought, let me give it a try once more. I went there 2 days back and the sales rep says that I need to get vodafone mobile connect installed on my phone to receive email messages. On my earlier trip I was told I need to get vodafone live installed which I did and no email yet. I think the sales representatives at Univercell don't know their job very well and are trying to just give excuses rather than saying that they don't know.
This is the problem with many Indian companies. I made the mistake of buying my phone from Univercell and I am not going to repeat that ever.
Indian companies or shops need to realize that there is competition out there and if they don't have a well trained staff, they will cease to exist.
