Please don't waste your hard-earned money—these guys are not at all professional in handling packages. Let me explain their strategy in cheating customers with my recent experience. I frequently ship grocery items from Chennai to the UK. at least 4 months once. Each time I use a different parcel service. First to know about their service and second the cheaper option. This way, I have recently used UnitedExpress. to ship 3 boxes from Chennai to the UK. I called to Hyderabad number and asked for the service. I told them all items are well-packed with robust cardboard boxes(It's the boxes we got for the big laser printer & Ultra mixer grinder. Think how strong it should be). I gave them a detailed list of items with quantity and price. I asked them, due to covid situation I don't want the boxes to be opened anywhere outside our home, please let me know if you do any repacking while transiting. Or If you want to check everything, then do it inside our house(Few providers are doing it). He said we won't do repacking and just asked to share the items list. He arranged a pickup in Chennai, and the UnitedExpress person has collected the parcel on time. The boxes didn't arrive on time. Frankly speaking, it was just 2 days delay. I feel that's fair. 2 days is not a big deal.
But after receiving the package, I got shocked. Boxes are well wrapped with united express tapes. And in the bottom, there is green tape wrapped on the corners. I felt something fishy. I opened it. All items inside the box are opened and damaged. I'm very sure someone opened each item. Immediately I called them and asked about it. They promised that "UnitedExpress wouldn't open any of the items and we ship the package as we take from your home. May be customs department might sometimes open the package and do some random check."
Then I spent around 3 hours checking each item. My findings are:
1.Not only 1, all the 3 boxes are opened, and there is a green tape on all the 3 boxes. Hello UExpress guys, Do you think the customs department will open all three package and spend time to check each small covers(masala covers). If you say yes. Then fine. Agree if they feel something wrong inside.
2.If you are so professional in handling packages, why have you changed the thick cardboard box to a thin diaper box? Will the customs department do such things? Changing packages to a different box and they use your UnitedExpress tapes to wrap it. Don't think we are fools to believe this.
3.In another box, few items are wrapped with UnitedExpress tape. Being a professional in handling packages and you promised that packages are never opened by you people, did your label itself, get into the box and wrapped on those items?
4.You know what you did on kids' products like Cerelac, Boost, Health mix, biscuits, and snacks items? I should tell this to the entire world and make everyone aware of this scam.
-You used a knife to cut the packets at the center and checked the content. How can we use this product now? Especially during this COVID situation.
-Received only 70% of snacks.
-Biscuit packets are opened and some of them are missing
-What kind of people are you? Is this a professional way of handling packages? After stealing those items, are you people taking back home or selling that outside for extra money.
To everyone on my recent experience:
UnitedExpress are trying to cheat customer by wrapping green tape outside and claiming all has been done by the customs department.
Do you think we can question the customs department and track who exactly did this?
Do you think the customs department open each item in all the boxes, tear using a knife, wrap again using UnitesExpress tape?
Do you think the customs department will change the items to Indian diaper boxes and wrap them again with UnitedExpress tapes?
Don't ever consider these guys in sending packages.
First, all of your items and food products are opened by their hands, and you can use them.
Second, you will get only 70% of the items inside.
Third, you won't get any single product in real shape. Most of the items would damage.
Fourth, you will be fooled to listen and believe in their stories.
Simple words on my recent experience, they are liars, cheaters, Unprofessional, and stealers.
