So, people, i'm back after a long time, k.. anyway, just saw this brand new category on MS, and thought of adding my choice, okey.hmmm... the ''unforgettable characters'', huh?! well, there have been sooo many such power-packed n' fun phlmi characters who have not only helped the actors to be succesful, but, have in a way proved to be a kind of a ''synonym'' for the respective actors. even if a movie isn't a success, there have been times, when the movie has given us an immortal character that knida stays in the audience's minds forever and ever. so, here goes my list of favs, read on:-
THE GOOD talking of the typical filmi heroes, there have been many characters who have given the definition of the real ''hero'' on screen. be itRAJ of DDLJ, or RAHUL of KKHH, these characters did help SRK to be the industries ''king khan''.talking of khans, who can forhet BHUVANof LAGAAN, a character which had the very essence of ''indianness'' or may be the great doston ki jodi of JAI AND VIJAY in SHOLAY..but hey, why only actors, haan?, hammari abhinetrees have also made an impact, rite.be it the very stylish POOof K3G, or the strong character of PRIYA played by zinta.how can anyone ever forget the ANJALI of KKHH, the BASANTI taangewaali, or our devdas and paroki jodi for that matter. these characters have definitely managed to hit the right chord with the audiences.
THE BAD - ''BADNAAM HUYE TOH KYA HUA, NAAM TOH HAI''- seems to be the motto of our bollywood baddies, isn't it?but hey, sacch hi hai naa, naam to hai and naam bhi aisa that people just can't get it out of their heads.ooh the ''raub'',GABBAR SINGHof sholay fame had, or even the MOGAMBO of MR.INDIA fame, jo khush hua aur logon ko darraya.the scare, the khauf these baddies can bring on your face is the very proof of their immortality. even our newbie-BHIKU MHATREof SATYAA fame deserves a mention here or the evilPREM played by prem chpra in many a flicks.
...AND THE OTHERS TOO apart from these heros and villians of filmdom, there have been many other people jinka bas naam hi kaafi hai to make you recall those greats.the very weirdMRS. BREGANZA... ahaa! of KKHH fame, or MUNNA BHAI.of RANGEELA, or the NATHULAAL ji and his moustaches, or, how about our veryyy own.... MANJEETwho rocked rgv's BHOOT. what impact they made on people, isn't it.probably that's why just at the very mention of these characters, we people tend to get so excited and elated.
CONCLUSION- so, these are the characters that have stayed with us, haan, and you ask- ''what's there in a name?''. everything, a unique name, a special charasteristic, a special trait that's what it takes for a character to be ''unforgettable'', wot say?
